You are walking up the stairs, out of breath. "Damn stairs." You curse under your breath.
"Need a hand?" A man with a deep voice chuckles behind you.
You stop in your tracks. You know exactly who this voice belongs to. A memories of almost ten years come rushing back and you barelx manahe to hold yourself together.
You put on a fake smile and turn around facing the man. "That won't be a problem Robert."
He is taken aback by seeing you. "Y/N?!"
The way your name rolls of his tongue makes your heart skip a beat but you don't stop nor look at him. You remember what he did to destroy your almost perfect relationship.
You quicken up your pace and arrive at the top of the stairs. You hear Robert calling for you loudly, making all the attention on you. "What is it Rob, I'm bussy."
He is looking at you intently. Counting all the beautifull freckles on your cheeks. He smrkes. "It's just... I tought I will never see you again."
His voice held so much pain you almost forgot about everything and just run to his embrace. "Yeah, I never tought I'll come back here eather. But here we are." She chuckled.
"Here we are inded. Listen, I'm sorry how things ended between us
So I was wondering if you would like to go..."
Robert's invitation was cut short by a tall dark haired man aproaching you.
"Here you are darling." He greeted with accent and put his arms around your waist. He kissed your forehead. "I'm Tom, nice to met you." He greeted Robert and offered him his hand to shake.
Robert kindly greeted back then excused himself never lookimg back.
He went to men's room amd lock the door behind him. His back slide down presses on a wall util he hit the ground.
He remembered everything, how they used to wake up wrapped in eachothers arms, how she dimples shown when she smiled, how she always made him special.
Then he rememberes hkw he blew it all up. He cheeted and destroyed the only good thing that ever happen to him. He destroyed her.
In that moment he realizes there would me no one elce for him. And he will never have her.
