Rahul Singh, a designer who was struggling to pay the rent of his house took up the vacancy at the coffee shop as Arjun decided to be a full-time writer. People at the coffee shop said the customers had increased since Rahul took up the job as he was handsome and friendly to everyone. The only secret he kept from everyone else was that he never had a lover in his life. Rahul's family was in London and he grew up there but due to financial problems, he decided to move away from his family and start fresh far from home. Even though he didn't have enough money, he always did send money to his parents from the little he had. He was such a good hearted man but he didn't have a happy life and nor did he let anyone know about it. All day he worked in an architecture firm and at night he was at the coffee shop. He was an inspiration to his colleagues by the way he was hard working to live. A month later, he was at the coffee shop where he worked as a customer since he left early from work and there was enough time for his night shift to begin. That's when two lonely people found shelter within each other. Rahul was checking through his emails when he heard someone crying holding in the tears. He could hear the faint noise. When he turned around, he saw Disha at the table next to him. She was extremely sad, with the phone in her hand. Rahul noticed her wheelchair and wondered how she was here all by herself. They did not know each other but he thought to lend a helping hand.

"Excuse me", he called. Disha's face was pink already, she looked at him. "Do you mind if I sit along?" "Sure" she replied in a low voice. He got up from his chair and joined her at the table. "Is everything okay?" "Yes..." "You seem upset, feel free to talk, that'll make you feel a little better", he said smiling at her. "Thank you but I'm okay". "I hope I'm not disturbing you", he said politely. "No..no..you're not". "Can I get you something? How about some coffee and a chocolate muffin? Trust me you'll love it", he said and signaled one of his co-workers. "Please get two chocolate muffins and two cups of coffee". "Okay", said the co-worker who was also his friend and went to get them what he had asked. Now there was silence and then she spoke, "do you like chocolate muffins and coffee?" "Yea, those are my favorites". "Mine too". "Oh, that's great. By the way, I'm Rahul Singh. It's okay, you don't have to tell me your name if you don't feel comfortable. Take me as a friend and you can tell me what's bothering you um...Sonam". She wondered who Sonam was. "Sonam?" "I don't know your name so I'll call you Sonam". She smiled as she was already feeling much better than before. He was quiet and let her talk. "I know Kunal for almost one and a half months now. He's my jiju's cousin brother. We were friends and we used to meet up often but for the past month, I thought he loved me from the way he spoke to me. But now he has posted many photos on his Instagram with his girlfriend. I thought he loved me and I was so stupid. The waiter kept the food and coffee on their table. "Thank you", they said in unison and the man walked away.

"So did he propose you?", asked Rahul. "No, he didn't. I shouldn't have thought all that". "Right...did you love him?" "I was about to but I don't. I saw these photos at the right time". "Problem solved", Rahul said with a smile and he continued. "Look, you guys were never in a relationship and none of you loved each other so both of you were good friends and will be the same. You should be happy and wait for the one". She thought for a while and realized she was not thinking the right way all this time. "Thanks, Rahul, I really didn't know what would've happened if you didn't talk to me". "That's okay. Can I ask you, how did you get here?" "I asked my friend to drop me here, she left". "I didn't notice you come. It was really nice meeting you Sonam". "Disha Sharma, nice meeting you too Rahul". "So friends?", he asked. "Yes" and they shook hands. "So Rahul what do you do?" "I'm a designer and I work here too at night. So, the muffin and coffee are on the house". "I didn't bring money anyway", she said and they laughed. "I have a brother Dev and a cousin brother Karan, cousin sister Kiara and Arjun Singh is my jiju. They are my family". "I'm my parents' only child, they live in London. Do you work?" "No, I don't. I tried but nobody hired me. I stay at home, it's pretty hard to get things done". "I totally understand you Disha. Do you want something more to eat?" "No thanks. Its time for me to go anyway". "Is someone coming to pick you up?" "No, my house is nearby". "Let me. Come on..." "Rahul it's okay". "I'm your friend and I'll drop you home. I can walk you home". "If you insist". "I do, let's go". He took her out of the shop and then to her home.

They were talking all the way for ten minutes. Rahul rang the bell and Karan opened the door. He saw Rahul standing behind Disha's wheelchair. "Bhaiyya meet my friend Rahul. Rahul, my bhaiyya Karan". "Hello" "Hello bhaiyya", they shook hands. "Rahul, why don't you come in", said Karan. "Sorry bhaiyya, some other day, I'll see you". "Okay" "Take care Disha" "You too Rahul". They smiled and waved hands and he went back to the coffee shop. Karan took Disha inside and closed the door. Then he sat with her while she told him everything about what happened and how she had met Rahul.
