⚜️Personality⚜️ Elres has been taking the role of a princess very seriously since young age. Always trying to impress her father, always following the rules and trying to stand out as exceptional and a great leader, she never really took that much free time for herself.
Even though she does good, she helps everyone who needs it and cares for the greater good, she worries that it's not because of her selflessness, but her will to look good and the desire to appear as a proper leader. She spends a lot of time wondering if she is a good person or is she just a fraud.
When she is not studying about ruling the kingdom, she spends most of her time either in the library or in the royal gardens. She enjoys learning about nature and about history, and if she doesn't go for her morning stroll, she doesn't feel right for the rest of the day.
She isn't very emotional and has troubles expressing herself since the closest thing to a friend has been her young maid. And she never talks much anyway, so she hardly counts as a friend. Still, she has mastered speaking to other royalty, but it mostly just consists of a cold smile and a lot of politics.
While growing up, Elres has always been taught to be as independent as possible. She always found herself singing herself to sleep or cheering herself up after falling down and scraping her knee. It made her despise being alone, she hates it when it's quiet and always has to have some background noise because it constantly reminds her how she would always be all on her own.
She doesn't dare to be stubborn. After seeing her father commit many mistakes trough his reign from sheet stubbornness, she decided she would never ever be so closed minded. While she is still quite confident in her beliefs and opinions, she is always happy to listen to a different point of view. Sometimes, after learning about another perspective, she can spend hours just thinking about it out loud and critically assessing the opinion.
When she gets really upset, her usual calm act fades away and she can't stop herself from saying what she thinks. Elres finds that to be a big problem and her father keeps warning her to practice on that big flaw of hers.
When she finds herself in a risky situation, she is most likely to freeze. She is very easy to scare, but will rarely openly admit so.
⚜️Likes⚜️ The library, nature and all the animals, her father, being thought of as a capable ruler, making a good impression, art, horse riding, fixing problems. Any possible way or opportunity to make her feel needed or important. While she isn't much of a talkative person herself, she enjoys a good, honest conversation.
⚜️Dislikes⚜️ Losing her cool, staying indoors for a long time, being patronized, feeling incompetent, forgetting beautiful memories, being in complete silence, having to be nice to unbearable people, being ignored. She absolutely hates being alone or feeling left out.
⚜️️Other⚜️ Her mother died on a hunting trip while Elres was 13. She feels bad from time to time, but she didn't know her mother quite well since she was raised by maids.
