I was ready. My bags were packed and I was set out to go see Arthur and meet his roommate. I just had to get through airplane security and get to my plane in time and I was all set. My nerves were all over the place. I hated security, I was always worried they wouldn't let me on the plane if I had too much shampoo or whatever in my bags. I also feared of loosing my bags, so I hated saying goodbye to my luggage.

ARTHUR: text me when you get on the plane <3

I get through security and glance at my phone, I want to reply but I have to find out where my plane is and get on it before it flies away. I somehow make it to my plane and in the correct seat before I text Arthur back.

BEN: I'm on the plane! i can't wait to see youuuu!

I cringed at how clingy I sounded but who cares! I'm seeing my long distance boyfriend in less than 24 hours. The thought of being with Arthur made my heart beat fast. I paid the extra money to get the wifi the plane company offered to paying costumers to text him the whole ride there.

BEN: what's the first thing you plan on showing me when i get to Connecticut?

God, that sounds dirty. I giggled to myself, hoping that Arthur texted back quick. I didn't feel like talking to my seat neighbor or watching one of the movies the plane offered. I just wanted to talk to Arthur and be with him. As sappy as that sounds.

ARTHUR: hmmm...
i could show you my dorm and give you a tour of Yale. and we can cuddleeee

I smiled at my phone. Thank goodness Arthur was the sappy romantic type because I honestly would love to fly up every weekend just to cuddle my boyfriend. Now if only I had the money to do so...

BEN: ahh YAY :)
also, i wanna meet Evan!

ARTHUR: he really wants to meet you too, he says he wants to see who's "keeping his boy safe"

I giggled, maybe one day Connor and I could visit them together. I knew Evan didn't visit Connor because of his fear of planes and flying, but maybe if he went with Arthur it would be easier and he could go fly up to me. I'd have to ask him.

BEN: that's adorable, they're so cute together :3

ARTHUR: yeah..............we're cuter

I mean he's not wrong. The rest of the flight was consistent of naps and texting Arthur, and before I knew it the pilot was announcing that we were about to land in Connecticut. I grinned, Arthur was planning to pick me up at the airport and said that Evan tagged along. I was so excited to be with Arthur and to meet his roommate. This weekend was going to be awesome.

I got off the plane and grabbed my bags, texting Arthur to see where his car was, I made it to EXIT B, where Arthur said he was. I saw him right away, and I ran up to him, and he took me in a bear hug.

"WELCOME TO CT!" he giggled, I pulled away from his hug to kiss him on the cheek.

"We're dorks!" I giggled, and he let me go to grab my bags and help me pack them in the car.

"The best dorks Connecticut has EVER SEEN!" Arthur laughed, packing the bags so everything just fit, and ushered me in the car. Evan —who I assumed was Evan — was sitting in the back with earbuds in, he had a very soft aesthetic and he looked up from his phone to wave at me and he assessed my appearance.

"Hi! I'm Ben," I reached over to shake his hand. Evan shook my hand, biting back a smile. Arthur got into the driver's seat and took note of the exchange. I hoped Evan didn't feel my sweaty hands.

Evan smiled at me and looked down at his phone to text someone, I assumed Connor. I looked over to Arthur mouthing "HE LIKES ME" Arthur laughed mouthing back "I DO TOO".

I snorted, as Arthur drove out of the parking space and I watched the airport get smaller in the window. I could believe I had a whole weekend in CT with my beautiful boyfriend. I looked over at him and reached for his free hand. He blushed, kissing my hand and letting go to make a left-hand turn. I smiled. I was so happy we weren't awkward considering the last time I saw him in person, we had broken up for good. I was glad we could just be boyfriends without the awkwardness. I looked out the window to see an empty field.

"Yeah, our dorms are like two hours away from the airport so get comfy," Arthur joked, and I laughed, looking down at my phone to check up on Connor.

BEN: hi! i just landed how are you doing?

Connor: i'm literally fine. tell my boyfriend i miss him and love him and wanna cuddle him.

I turned to look back at Evan. He looked up at me. "Your boyfriend wants me to tell you that he loves you," I bit my lip. Ev laughed, muttering "nerd".

"Tell him I love him too,"

BEN: he says he loves you tooooo

I heard Evan texting in the back so I assumed they were texting each other. I put my phone down to watch the view of a new state outside the car window. I smiled, looking up at Arthur. We had miles of straight road so he put the car on autopilot, and grabbed my hand while he drove.

This is going to be the best weekend of my life.
