So I found this "fanfic" that I wrote a while ago and the general idea is that the smash characters have mentall illnesses/disorders and had to be admitted to a hospital. I wrote like a whole chapter and half of one, so im just gonna rewrite the first one.

I like the idea, so I may actually write a story like this, I just have to do more research and decide a story line

Just saying, some of these things may be triggering.

Anyway, enjoy the first chapter of Super Smash Bros Asylum for the Mental!

The alarm rang all throught the hospital, even though most of us were already awake. I sat up from my bed and looked at my brother, Time. I could tell he was awake, but just didn't want to get up. I sigh and stand up, going to get ready for breakfast.

"Hey," Time said, still laying in bed.

"Yeah?" I said while putting my socks on.

"Remember to take your pills."

"I know, you should too." I grab the pill bottle from the table and fill up a cup with the water fountain we had. I took one out and swallowed it, coughing a little afterwards.

"Yeah," Time said. The guard by our door stepped in then to take us to the cafeteria. Time finally decided to get up, put on his eyepatch and socks on, and take his pills. "Let's go," he said in a monotone voice.

The rooms started on the second floor, the first floor had the entertainment areas, the check in, and the cafeteria. I see some of my friends and wave at them. They didn't notice.

The guard took us to our assigned table, and in a few minutes the whole cafeteria is full, including our table.

Samus.

Ike.

Marth.

Pit.

Robin.

Lucina.

And Roy.

Those are our friends. Our small group of friends with somewhat similar conditions. They and Time were the only thing thing that was keeping me sane in this place.

"Hey, I heard we're getting a new girl!" Pit said. Oh Pit, this poor boy. Don't be fooled by his simingly happy personality, because he's probably one of the worst ones here. Pit has tried to kill himself more than fifteen times in his whole life. It all started when his older sister died in a train crash when he was young. He had a mental breakdown and was never able to recover, so he often refers to her as if she were still alive. He won't belief the fact that she is dead, instead his mentality is that he is an angel and she is a goddess of light, who had to return to her original for and is now waiting for him. He's tried hanging himself, which left a mark on his neck, drowning, overdosing, cutting, and so on. This is why he must have a guard around him at all times. Other wise, he'd probably end his own life.

"How come you weren't as excited when I came?" Samus whined. She then smiled ever so slightly. "I am excited though." Samus has BPD, or boderline personality disorder, which basically means you have unstable moods. For example, you could go from angry to depressed in an instant, and it can be triggered by several things. For her it all started when her parents were killed by a man named Ridley, and she was confused when different members of her family told her not to cry or to not be a baby or that it was okay for her to cry. She has cut herself a couple of times, but not on Pit levels.

"Lets hope she's nice," Ike said. Ike and Samus are somewhat similar, except Ike is bipolar. He developed it when people used to make fun of him for being fat and having blue hair If only they'd see the muscles he's got now. He's got Bipola 2 disorder, so he's less manic and more depressed in both modes compared to Bipolar 1. He also tends to beat people up and them heal them immidiatly after. And he beats people up for the littlest reasons too. I woudln't say his condition is too bad, but I can definetly see why he's here.
