Sorry for not updating on the weekend. As I said in my previous chapter my school gives a lot of homework. On the first day back we had a test, a book we needed to read and an assignment. All due in the same week we got them!!!! Sorry you guys probably don't want to hear my complaining. Hahaha. But I hope this chapter makes up for the late update.

"Hey guys, why doesn't Vicki sit with you." I asked stuffing an apple in my mouth. It's been a week now and I'm back at my moms place. Detention wasn't actually that bad. In fact it was fun. Max and James kept annoying the teacher. As suspected I didn't have to sleep with one eye open course Sam didn't actually attack me. He mostly spends his days glaring at me and as predicted the football gang did play. Everybody knows the school can't afford to lose the semi finals. Chloe is still with that loser. So my efforts were for nothing. I guess you can't help someone who doesn't want to be helped, but you can be there when they need it most. She did thank me after and told me she still loved him. Honestly I don't think Chloe knows what love is. I looked at her shrink in the corner and lower her head when ever he talked to her. I'm going to be honest, I don't know a lot about love but I sure as hell know that's not it.
"Earth to Kim, earth to Kim," Max said snapping me out of my train of thought, "Vicki doesn't sit with us because she likes to be in her own world, or secret bubble if you ask me. She did sit with us when Dean was at this school."
"Did she have a thing for Dean or something." I asked sitting up straighter and leaning over to hear better. I hope she didn't course that would mean I'd have competition.
"Yeah they dated for two year but then he realised that they would never be mates, because it would have happened by than, he broke up with her." Ryan added. I kinda felt threatened by this new news. Why wouldn't he date her? She beautiful, smart and a wolf. Now I understood why she hated me so much. She was in love with Dean but knew he would break her heart when he finds his mate. So Dean being the gentlemen ended it before things got messy.
"Yeah and everyone wanted them to be mates cause he was the Alpha and she was the Beta's daughter." James added stuffing a donut in his mouth. Jacob slapped him on the head as if what he said was wrong.
"What's a Beta?" I asked confused. I thought I knew all the terms.
"It's pretty much second in command really." Ryan said lying on the grass soaking up the last bit of sun. It was already autumn but I think the sun forgot that. So most days it came out of its shell.
"Is it in the blood kinda role like the alpha or..." I asked dragging my question on waiting for someone to answer it. I looked around they were all ignoring me. I hated being ignored. I just signed and decided not to push the subject.
"No, the Alpha chooses all the roles. On Deans birthday, the 14th of May, they are having a massive ceremony." Ryan eventually said looking up at the sky.
"You know what happen to me on the weekend?" James asked without reserving an answer. "Well I was checking out this chick at the shops and she noticed. So me being the sexy guy I am," Max scoffed and Tom rolled his eyes.
"Of please James, stop flattering yourself. " Max laughed.
"Dude we all know the truth." Tom joined in laughing and Jacob managed a grin.
"Dude shut up, I'm telling my story," James said punching Tom in the shoulder. He pretended like it hurt to annoy James. James just rolled his eyes. "Anyways I walked up to her and used my sexy charm to wooh her. Than when she turned around, it turned out she was a man!"
Everyone burst into laughter. That's a really awkward situation.
"How the hell did that happen." Max laughed.
"Hey she...I mean he was dressed in a skirt. He even had make up on." James defended.
"Dude you're just weird." Tom laughed getting up just as the bell rang.
"I think I'm pretty normal." James defended laughing as he got up.
"Whoever told you that my friend, was lying." I laughed as I put my hand on James's shoulder pretending to comfort him.
"Ooh look who actually has comebacks other than shut up." James teased.
"I have my moments." I said making my way to my locker. The boys walked me to class. On the way people stared at me. Some girls were jealous that I got to hang out with the hotties of the school. One girl even went as far as calling me a slut. Big mistake. All the boys defended me and made her realise what she said was uncalled for. After that nobody talked to me and I got the title as the bad girl of the school. I remember when I heard someone in the hallway saying that and looking at me. I laughed for the rest of the day. Seriously, me a bad girl. That's like saying Mother Teresa is a murder.
After school I walked home. Mom still hasn't given me back my car. Great. I spent the afternoon doing the homework pile that just didn't seem to go down. I can't wait to graduate. I mean I don't even know what I want to do. I was thinking of being a teacher for high school students and that's all I got.
"Kim do the dishes and take out the trash please. I'm quickly going to KFC to grab us some dinner." I groaned loudly. Really mom. I hate doing the dishes. I muttered the whole way down the stairs.
"Oh get over yourself Kimberly and just do the dishes." Mom groaned storming out the house. She must have had a bad day at work. I quickly did the dishes and grabbed the trash.
"Really mom. Ask your daughter to take the trash out at night. Does nobody watch horror movies." I muttered. I heard faint growls escape from the forest. I snapped my head to that direction. "Ok Kim, turn around and walk away." I said feeling a cold shiver run down my spine. I'm just over reacting. But than a louder more clearer growl escaped from the forest. I jumped and instantly turned around to see a large shadow at the edge of the forest. I walked towards the shadow feeling my heart beat faster with each step I took.
I jumped when three black wolves the height of a standing man and the size of rhino, jumped out the forest. They were huge. Their black fur stood out because of the clear white moon.
I took several steps back. Ok, these aren't average wolves they must be werewolf's.
The biggest wolf approached me. I froze on the spot. It jumped and pinned me to the ground. I felt its hot breath on my bare neck. It looked as if it was smiling. Could this be a joke.
"Now Kim," how did he know my name? "I suggest you stop getting close and cuddly with Dean and we will be great friends. Understood." I couldn't speak. How do they know me? How do they know where I live? More importantly, how can they speak.
"Understood." The leader said more firmly. I nodded like an idiot. "Good." The wolf smiled and sprinted back into the woods. The smallest one looked back at me and smiled. Something about its dark eyes seemed familiar.
I ran into the house switched on every light and locked all the doors. Than I did the stupidest thing. "911 what's you emergency?" A lady on the other side asked.
"Ok wolves attacked me and they talked to me. They threatened me." I yelled pulling my hair with one hand.
"Ma'am there are big finds for prank calls." The women said before hanging up. I paced the room uncontrollably. I heard a bang on the door. "Who's there!" I yelled before I realised it was just mom. I opened the door and ran to my room. "Not hungry." I yelled before I jumped into bed begging myself to sleep. Those weren't real wolves they were people. People who didn't like the fact that I was hanging with Dean.
But the million dollar question was...who are they?

I couldn't sleep. That image of that wolfs wide smile and dark eyes just kept jolting my body awake. I rolled constantly begging my eyes to close for longer than a minute. But I had no such luck.
The next morning I went through my usual morning habits a lot quicker than normal. "Mom." I called before she walked out the front door.
"Morning sweetie. You're up early." She beamed, leaning forward for a kiss. Her arms were full of books and notes. Her black suit matched the depressing sky.
"Can I please have my car back. It looks like it might rain today." She let out a deep breath and gave me a pointed look.
"Ok," she said giving in to my baby face,"but you have to promise..."
"Thank you, thank you, thank you. I love you so much." I yelled practically jumping on her making her books fall to the ground. I quickly scrabbled to help her pick them up.
"Ok sweetie see you after school." She said planting a kiss on my forehead.
I came to school earlier than usual. Chloe quickly walked to me while Sam wasn't looking. "Hey...um...Kim. I um just wanted to..uhh. Ask you to stop trying to help me. I am thankful to have a friend like you but you're just making things worse." She stood there for awhile waiting for my reaction. Stunned I just nodded and walked away. Who was that person. That's not the Chloe I knew. That's somebody else.
Dean and the gang rolled in looking as fine as ever. Should I take that wolfs advice and stay way. No I can't. As discovered before Dean wouldn't give up on me. Plus his an Alpha. I'm sure he can help, right? I was just walking and some how I ended up in front of him. There must be some kind of pull. Making us be together. "Morning beautiful." Dean smiled his movie star smile that lit my day and made me feel so much better. However in the forest nearby I felt someones eyes on me.
"Dean," I began ignoring his compliment, "does anyone in you pack have black fur?" I questioned feeling those eyes bore in to my back. A slow cold shiver ran down my back and the hair on my neck was raised.
"No." Dean said giving me a pointed look.
"Then why did three black wolfs threaten me yesterday?" At that moment everything went slow as we all slowly turned our heads to the forest edge.

Dean's P.O.V
I heard a low snarl and saw the trees ruffle as a large black figure rushed back into the pits of the woods. Thank goodness Kim couldn't hear these noises. At this moment I was glad she was human. I slowly turned to her feeling my body tense with anger.
"They know." I mind linked to Ryan. He nodded with his fists in a ball. Vicki who didn't have much care for Kim was shocked herself.
I will not let them touch MY mate!
"Get in." I commanded feeling my body shake with anger. Kim hesitated but got in the front seat. "Ryan I think it's best if you come too. I will need you." Ryan nodded and got in the back seat. Vicki walked off with the gang. They were all tense and I knew their day was going to be hard. Kim kept quiet, she must be stunned by the seriousness of this. "Where are we going?" She finally asked. Her innocent voice calming me.
"Kim," I took a deep breath. "Your going to meet my parents."

Werewolf"This is it" I thought. I watched as the love of my life descends to the cold snow. A loud piercing scream escaped my lips. I used all of my energy to run to his side. But I was too late. "Please." I begged knowing it was hopeless. "Come back to me...
