MarinaFares

1) "Name?"

Sami but I love to go by Marina on this app, makes it seem like Marina Diamandis is running a wattpad account and leaving funny comments.

2) "Age?"

22.

3)" What are your hobbies?"

I’m your typical tumblr goth girl. I love watching foreign films and reading. When I’m not reading I’m binge watching shows or fixing my pop girl, alternative, emo music playlist. I also love baking.

4) "When did you start writing and why?"

I started writing around 6th grade. I would always write funny short stories for my sisters with their celebrity crushes.

5) "Which was your first story generally?"

My first time writing a story was for my sister. I wrote a hilarious gossip girl fanfic and randomly put Corbin Bleu in it. It was weird as fuck but at the time I thought it was funny.

6) "Do you write in some other website except Wattpad?"

I’m in the political/journalism field in college so I’m constantly writing online articles for my college newspaper.

7) "What has given you motive to keep on writing?"

I wanna become a better writer. I don’t really write on here. I never actually published a story on her, though I hope to in the future. I really wanna improve the way I write articles, especially when I want to serve justice to the topic.

8 )"Have you ever wanted to give up everything? (writing I mean)"

Yes! I started a bunch of fictional stories and came up with really good ideas but I ended up ditching ideas because I didn’t know how I wanted to go about them. Something I really need to work on.

9) "Which is your favorite story on Wattpad?"

I love so many! Can I pick 2? My first pick is Angel by @grigiogirls. The way it’s written is so intimate and I get this pleasant dreamy feel from reading it. My second pick is The Divide by @yagirltayo. The story is just hilarious and gave me sitcom feels. I’m so upset the writer never finished it.

10) "Have you gained any friendship from Wattpad? If yes, which are your Wattpad friends?"

I became best friends with @KeepingItHighClass, she’s amazing! I also love @grigiogirls, I spammed all her stories with comments.

11) "Do you relate with any of your characters from your books? If yes, which one and which characteristics are similar?"

I always create characters in my head who are in a sense a better version of me, maybe that’s why I never go through with my stories because I’m unsure of my own life therefore unsure of my character’s next moves.

12) "What did you study /are you studying/do you want to study?"

Political science and a minor in Journalism and English

13)" Describe yourself in 3 words."

Funny, low key a pessimistic and a dreamer.

14) "What do you advise new writers?"

Just write! Even if your stories come out really shitty, just keep writing!

15)" What do you think is THAT thing that makes someone a good writer?"

I appreciate someone who really puts effort into dialogue. I love really good, realistic dialogue. An honorable mention is writers who include diversity. As an Arab American in New York City I want to read stories with people I encounter everyday.

16)" Any future plans?"

Go to grad school for journalism. I know it’s gonna be hard as hell but I’m ready for it and I wanna tell people’s stories.

17) " Choose- 'challenge' two writers that you want to know about to do this interview like you."

@KeepingItHighClass @issaharrystyles
