1) "Name?"

Um, hi, I'm Adwitiya Sarkar... I'm not that great at introductions, so don't mind me.

2) "Age?"

15.

3)" What are your hobbies?"

Reading classics and poems. I'm a huge fan of books.... I read my mother's graduation coursebooks in ninth grade, so yeah.

4) "When did you start writing and why?"

I started writing my first novel when I was ten. (Well, I abandoned that novel, but I'm planning to finish it now that I'm more mature.) Like I said, I'm an avid reader, and I've been reading since I was three years old. I guess I wanted to express my feelings in some way, and being an introvert doesn't help either. That, and I love writing. I guess that's why I started writing.

5) "Which was your first story generally?"

Hmm... I wrote a novel called 'The mystery of the magical lions'. That was my first story. Although I have discovered that I'm more of a poetess than an author, really.

6) "Do you write in some other website except Wattpad?"

No, but some of my short stories and poems have been published on other platforms.

7) "What has given you motive to keep on writing?"

The authors I've had an exposure to, like Fitzgerald, Bernard Shaw, Shakespeare- I had my first taste of Shakespeare when I was eight- and others kind of motivated me. But now, I guess it's just the feel. Writing thrills me. It's my escape from this world. Like they say, writers bleed through words.

8 )"Have you ever wanted to give up everything? (writing I mean)"

I'll be very honest. Yes, I have. It was a time last year. I mean, I've had writer's block quite often, but I've never felt utterly helpless before. But last year, when I found that none of my short stories were working out at that time, I lost hope. But that helped me discover my skills with poems. *Smiles* Everyone has those times. It's important to move on and find out what you're good at, instead of wallowing in self pity.

9) "Which is your favorite story on Wattpad?"

I don't know, really. I've read many, believe me. But there are some that are really relatable, and I love historical fiction and Marvel fanfictions(especially about Loki), so those are great.

10) "Have you gained any friendship from Wattpad? If yes, which are your Wattpad friends?"

Yes, of course. I have many friends here, and I'm thankful to them. One of my best friends here is @mi-adelinette.

11) "Do you relate with any of your characters from your books? If yes, which one and which characteristics are similar?"

Yes, Dorothy Brookes from Entwined Hearts: Fate Made Us One. I think she's a reflection of my character- has a sense of humour, is a bit too self-conscious, loves books.... But more than that, I relate with a character named Michael Young, from a short story I've written, called The Typewriter. Michael has a tragic past, and he is the perfect combination of childish and mature. The way he finally gets the strength to move on, understands the impermanence of life, and helps others move on from tragedies, is something I relate to.
