1) "Name?"
Hi, I'm India Scarlett (first and second name)
2) "Age?"
I'm 15 going on 16 (my birthday's in February)
3)" What are your hobbies?"
Apart from writing and reading of course, I love to dance, listen to music and watch BookTube.
4) "When did you start writing and why?"
I can't remember either I started some years ago, I was probably 10, I think.
5) "Which was your first story generally?"
As question 4, I'm not sure. I think it was this story about a warrior that discover the secret, magical world of the seven valleys. Of course it's unfinished.
6) "Do you write in some other website except Wattpad?"
No but I hear a lot about Radish so I might check it out and I will also be doing NaNoWriMo this year! Please tell me what you think in the comments
7) "What has given you motive to keep on writing?"
It all depends but I always try to find music that fits my book so when I feel like giving up I just listen to my playlist and I automatically went to start writting again. My sisters are also a big help. I'll let them read as I write so they're always pushing me for the rest ❤
8 )"Have you ever wanted to give up everything? (writing I mean)"
Yes, and I have. But it's I know that I will always come back to it, no matter what. It's normal to feel discouraged at times, espically when you feel like your story is going nowhere, but that's alright and you just need to take our time or a break and come back.
9) "Which is your favorite story on Wattpad?"
Now that's a hard one Of course you can find my Enjoyable Reads/Good Books reading list that I try to keep very restricted but the first book I think of is the House of card series.
10) "Have you gained any friendship from Wattpad? If yes, which are your Wattpad friends?"
No I haven't actually and I would love to!! Please comment if you went to be my friend❤
11) "Do you relate with any of your characters from your books? If yes, which one and which characteristics are similar?"
I think that my characters and their relationships were all inspired by people I live with and me, which means that I don't relate to a particular character. I'm the eldest of four sisters, the youngest being named Emilie, that's where I got my main character's name from. The telephone and grocerie scene between Emily and Harper are EXACTLY how ot happens at home with me and my sisters. I sing under the shower and like italian food like my main character. Of course, all of the songs I picked I liked so you could say we have the same musical taste Emily and I. I also like to read and which I could roller skate like her.
12) "What did you study /are you studying/do you want to study?"
I go to school in France so here I'm in seconde and that is the equivalent of in the US. I don't know exactly but I know I want to go down the literature road.
13)" Describe yourself in 3 words."
Smiley, organized (most of the time) and perfectionist
14) "What do you advise new writers?"
Your first book is going to suck, you might not even finish it. But you got to keep writing.
15)" Questions based on ' Shower Duet' : How were you inspired to write this story?"
I saw this prompt on pintersest and saved it. I didn't think about it for awhile and then I started to write the story #pintrestislife
16)" Who's your favourite character in the book and why? "
Most of my favorite characters are usual side characters. I find them really funny and they've usually got something to say each time. I loved writing Lexi, I know it doesn't seem so but I've got a whole story for her. Surprisingly I think I prefer my main character Emily.
17)"If you were asked to publish your book , would you do it?"
Maybe, maybe not... For now I don't think so. It's not ready. I want to go over it, edit it, ect...
18)"Which is your favourite a) funny, b) dramatic, c) romantic, d) sad scene in the book?"
19) " A phrase or a scene that you write and you'll never forget.(and why)"
I haven't got a phrase, I never remember any book quotes or anything. It's hard to pick a scene because of course I see this book as a whole but I have to say that the love declaration on chapter was rewriten at least three times and sticks with me because I spent so much time wanting his words to be perfect ❤
20) " How much time did it take to plan the whole plot? "
I can't really answer this because I honestly hadn't planned the book to be so long. It took me a day of thinking here and there to get a plot idea for a story that was suppose to do 10 chapters. After that I outlined the chapters as I went and just couldn't get to the end at chapter 10 so I continued until I felt that the relationship built between the characters wasn't to rushed.
21)" How many unpublished and half-finished books do you have?"
A LOT I honestly can't even estimate. Some are only the first page others longer. In all of my unfinished books I haven't been able to get to the half way point though.
22) "Any spoilers for future plans?"
As I said I'm going to be doing NaNoWriMo this year so hopefully a novel or novella I would like to edited Shower Duet before summer and hopefully have another romance and a Halloween/vampire story for next year. I would also love to start BookTube but we'll see about that
23)" Are you planning to publish a sequel?"
No, for the simple reasons that I personally don't really enjoy sequels and I might extend to story a little while editing. Sorry♀️
CRITICAL QUESTIONS
1) " So for CRITICAL question #1 the new question that I'll give you is based on a song from Taylor Swift's new album ' Lover'. You don't have to know the song but just an information I wanted to add. So the song is called 'Cruel Summer' and the question is..."Describe your favorite summer fling! (or if you haven’t had one, your ideal one)"
Ok, I haven't had a summer fling so I'm going to have to make one up my ideal summer fling would be with a friend of guy that we would have made friends with will we were on holiday (i know I'm complicated sorry) it would mostly have to be fun and we would explore the area and hang out with everyone a lot, my friends would know but my parents wouldn't. We would both know it was a summer fling, we wouldn't get to attached. ❤❤
2) "What’s the most imaginative insult you can come up with?"
In english I don't know but there was one time with my friends that we were insulting each other with vegetable names like
"Espèce de courgette!"
"Face the carotte!" (Carotte face)
"Tête the patate!" (Potato head)Thank you so much India_Scarlett!!❤❤
All the love,
M.
