bitchmafia

1) "Name?"

Tisha.

2) "Age?"

14.

3)" What are your hobbies?"

Writing, graphic designing, and I’m getting into things like drawing.

4) "When did you start writing and why?"

A very long time ago, i can’t remember specifically. I’ve always had these ideas and magical worlds in my head that I’ve wanted to make real in some way, so I discovered writing

5) "Which was your first story generally?"

I think my first ever story that I genuinely wrote and wanted to go somewhere was called ‘elemental danger’ and it’s actually a sort of rough draft of portraying fire. It had all the same characters and not many personality changes but the plot was different

6) "Do you write in some other website except Wattpad?"

Currently, I only write for wattpad but I’m thinking of adding my stories to a profit site like dreame but I’m not sure.

7) "What has given you motive to keep on writing?"

I feel lost without it, if that makes any sense. My brain feels like a mess if I can’t get all my ideas on pages. It’s something that I truly enjoy doing, and I can’t see myself without it.

8 )"Have you ever wanted to give up everything? (writing I mean)"

I mean, sometimes I feel like I have to ‘grow up’ and stop making up worlds but then I remember that there is no age limit on writing, and if I’m passionate about it I should do it.

9) "Which is your favorite story on Wattpad?"

Hmm tough choice. For some reason I can’t sit still long enough to read lol but I really enjoyed Nyctophilia by @kolsmikaelson and Solar Veins by @supernovass . I’m also trying to read Dead nite by @kolsmikaelson and I’m absolutely loving it so far.

10) "Have you gained any friendship from Wattpad? If yes, which are your Wattpad friends?"

Yes! I’ve gained so many friendships, some of whom have recently left the site. Here are some of them: @kolmikaelson @supernovass @sebstab @silversolara hexery cumbersbitch @cadetcarswell @empressotaku @flashingallen @dankfabio

11) "Do you relate with any of your characters from your books? If yes, which one and which characteristics are similar?"

Tough question but yes, I relate to my character Gracie McAdams (the girl who cried wolf) she’s always trying to make everyone laugh and be happy, even when she could use some support herself. I love her hyper moods and surprising jokes, I base her character on myself a lot.

12) "What did you study /are you studying/do you want to study?"

I don’t study anything atm as I’ve only just re started school (high school)

13)" Describe yourself in 3 words."

Not to be full of myself but: Funny, stubborn, passionate.

14) "What do you advise new writers?"

It’s ok to give up on a story you don’t feel like writing. Do not push yourself to write it and then end up with something you don’t like because then won’t ever be able to write a version you’re happy with. If you let it simmer then who knows, you may come back to it some day with a butt load of inspiration I know I’ve done it a lot of times.

15)" Questions based on ' Portraying fire' : How were you inspired to write this story?"

Sometimes, I just get this one idea in my head, one single scene that makes me want to explore it and develop a plot. That’s what I did with this story and 75% of all my stories lol.

16)" Who's your favourite character in the book and why? "

McKenna for sure. She can be in the wrong a lot, she makes a lot of mistakes and has trouble owing up to them but she tries, and we will see her completely break herself but fight endlessly to keep the people she care about safe. She’s a strong person and despite her many problems I know she’s good.

17)" Have you decided the end of the book? "

No, surprisingly. Usually, I always plan the start and ending of the book but with this one I’m sure on practically everything except the ending.

18)"If you were asked to publish your book , would you do it?"

Yes I would. Because that means I can profit from something I love doing. But, if I could, I’d keep the free version up on wattpad to stay humble.

19) " A phrase or a scene that you write and you'll never forget.(and why)"

Probably the scene where McKenna is at her mothers doorstep for the first time in a long time. I loved the way I explored her emotions and thoughts in that scene. I also loved how it showed this apparent strong and angry character turn into a coward. But, I haven’t written much of this story yet so my answer could change over time.

20) " How much time did it take to plan the whole plot? "

I don’t usually pre plan my plots. I start with a basic outline (start, middle, thing I want to happen) and then derail it as I go along. A bit messy, I know.

21)" How many unpublished and half-finished books do you have?"

Too many to count. I have a ton on one of my first ever phones that I can never get back (probably 20 or so) plus my notes are filled with drafts of stories I’ll never get to and my wattpad account only has books that were published at a time but taken down (13). I’d say easily, over 100 books

22) "Any spoilers for future plans?"

McKenna May reunite with her lost family members in a heartbreaking way (;

23)" What expectations do you have for this book?"

I try not to hope too high, in case there’s not many people who enjoy the book, but I really hope Portraying fire gets attention because it’s the first book I’ve felt proud of in a long time.

CRITICAL QUESTIONS

1) "What is something that everyone looks stupid doing?"

Tearing someone down for doing something they love just because it’s ‘trendy’. Don’t get me wrong, I make my fair share of jokes about VSCO girls and trend jumpers, but I’d never belittle them to their face and make them hate something about themselves just because everyone else is doing it. That’s clownery luv x

2) "In 40 years, what will people be nostalgic for?"

I’m not sure. Probably the simple things that we don’t even know will go. Things like boy bands and memes (:
