Lunch Time, finally...
I stood up and headed to the door, but I was interrupted by someone calling me.
"Isabella!" I turned around to see the blonde boy, Naruto, waving at me. I walked up to him and asked,
"Yes?"
"Would you like to come with me and my gang at the lunch table?" He asked.
"Y-yeah, sure.." His face lightened up.
"Thanks, Isa-chan, dattebayo!" He ran off. I chuckled and walked to the door, kept my bag in my locker and headed to the cafeteria.
When I entered the cafeteria, it was half the size of the school.. I mean, wow..
In my country our cafeteria was 1/4 the size of this cafeteria. I ordered my food and placed them on a tray and looked for a familiar blonde haired boy. When he saw me he waved at me and gestured me to come over. I walked to the and sat beside him in the middle of a boy with pineapple hair, the usual black polo shirt and dark green necktie.
The guy beside me sighed and murmured,
"What a drag.." My nose scrunched up.
"Excuse me?" I asked.
"Don't worry, Shikamaru was always that lazy, and he always says that, dattebayo." Whispered Naruto, feeling his breath on my ear making me shudder.
"O-okay.." Then they introduced themselves.
So it's me, Naruto, Shikamaru, Kiba, Choji, and Shino.
"So, Bell, do you like Sasuke?" Kiba asked.
"Wait... What?" I asked while chewing on my sushi.
"Every girl in our batch has a crush on Sasuke except Hinata and TenTen. I just thought you might be one of the fangirls of his." I froze.
"You're lucky I finished chewing on my sushi, or else I would choke." He gave me a confused face.
"What?" I laughed, but not loud enough to let the other people hear me.
"Me? Like that f*cking emo duckbutt? Oh god, are you joking!?" I continued to laugh.
Naruto's POV
"What?" Asked Kiba. Then Isa-chan laughed.
"Me? Like that f*cking emo duckbutt? Oh god, are you joking!?" She continued to laugh.
She's so cute... Her laugh is- HOLD UP! WHAT AM I THINKING!?
My heart was beating fast and my face started to heat up. She stopped laughing and sighed. Then she looked at me with a confused expression.
"Why are you blushing, Naruto?" She asked. My eyes widened.
"I'M NOT BLUSHING!" I exclaimed. Her hand went to my mouth and leaned in.
Our faces were inches apart, my face heated up again.
"I'm not fond of attention, so use your inside voice or I will rip out your vocal chords and feed it to Kiba's dog." She threatened. Then Shikamaru interrupted.
"Make-out somewhere else." He said.
"I might do the same thing to you, Shika.." Said Isa-chan. Shikamaru's eyes widened and he turned the other way mumbling about troublesome women.
"Sorry, Isa-chan.." I whispered. She smiled and leaned back.
"It's okay."
"Hey, why do you call Sasuke 'Emo duckbutt' dattebayo?" I asked.
"Well, I make nicknames for everyone I meet, but it takes time for me to think. And didn't you notice that his hair is shaped like a duck's butt?" She answered.
The bell rung and all the students stood up and headed to the assigned classes. We stood up and headed separate ways, except for me and Isa-chan.
"What's your next class?" I asked.
"Well, as I remember, Biology.."
"Hey, let's walk there together! I have the same class, dattebayo." She smiled.
"Sure! Let me get my things first." She headed to her locker and got her things needed and walked up to me.
"Let's go."
While we were walking, a random boy ran in the opposite direction of where we were going and bumped into Isa-chan making her trip. My body acted on it's own and caught her. My left hand on her waist and right hand on her shoulder, our lips were almost touching.
We regained our balance and walked in awkward silence.
"S-sorry about that, Naruto.." Isa-chan said.
"No, no! It's not your fault! It was that guy who bumped into you, dattebayo!" I said quickly waving my hands infront of me. She chuckled.
《Time Skip》
Finally the end of class. Iruka-sensei was so boring!
Me and Isa-chan walked together and talked about some random stuff.
"What's your next class, Naruto?" She asked.
"Social Studies.. You?" She frowned.
"Aww, I'm headed to music. Guess we will see each other later?" I nodded and she smiled.
"Oh, and I have a nickname for you.." She said.
"What is it?" She smiled again and whispered in my ear that I could feel her breath, making me shiver.
"My Sweet Blonde Knucklehead *chuckle*"
