Johns P.OV

"Sweetie, come here!" Rog yelled from the sitting room. I placed my book-marker in the page I was reading and set the novel on the glass table aside of the couch. I stood up-and I know this was a cheesy couple move-and waited to hear that sweet voice of his again. "Ah, come on! I have a surprise!" I smiled and giggled some before skipping downstairs. Immediately I smelt..apples..and maybe-cinnamon. My favorite candle! I turned a corner and saw Roger with his back to the entrance to the room looking better than ever in a stunning purple-jacket and matching pants. I blushed and smiled. He still hasn't realized I am here, has he?  I thought to myself. I coyly mumbled, "Yes, love?"

He whipped around and shoved something in his coat pocket. He blushed and smiled at me, "I need to talk to you."

His face converted from shy to serious. I bit my lip and looked up at him as he shuffled towards me.  I really hated being shorter  than literally everyone (but I don't really mind being shorter than Brian, 'cause he's literally a  beanstalk). I am even shorter than Freddie. Aside my discomforts of being short, I feel kinda protected-like I'll always be safe with the guys, since they are taller than me, and-not to mention-my bestfriends.

"Baby, I love you so very much. Do you know that?" He asked lowering himself down to my level.

"Of course I do, babe. I love you to much to be put in words." I gushed at him.

"I love to hear that. That's why I made this for you." He pulled out a ring of what looked like copper and maybe-gold. My eyes widened in surprise and I tackled him in a hug. He accepted the embrace, letting me kiss him afterwards. He smiled that happy, love-filled smile I love. "So, do you want to look at it or not?" He asked. I squealed and nodded. He giggled and handed me a beautifully crafted bracelet-it looked like it was made in heaven. It was braided copper, with a bit of silver, and gold. I examined it when I saw a message carved in to the inner ring. It read, "With every single day that passes I feel like I've fallen in love with you all over again." I smiled and began to notice the tears falling from my eyes.

"Y-You made this for me, Roger?" I asked through sobs. He nodded with a small smile. I leaned onto his shoulder, wrapped my arms around his neck and cried. He wrapped his arms around me and began to stand up. He carried me to the couch where he sat me on his lap. Great, I'm ruining the moment, I thought.  At that thought, I just cried more.

10 min later*                                                                                                                                                                  Once the crying settled down, I looked up at Roger, the love of my life. He was drawing imaginary circles on my back-which was calming. I shifted and wiggled a little on his thighs let him know that I was okay now. He smiled a little looking down at me and getting caught in my eyes. I broke the silence by giggling, "I never knew you could do welding, Roggie. Also, sorry for crying...I got overwhelmed." He smiled and shook his head.

"Deaky, to your first, I was taught how to weld and things like that by my Dad. And I took a bit of classes for it in highschool." Rog explained before a slight pause. "And, to your second, it is completely acceptable to get overwhelmed. I get overwhelmed all the time." Roger began to move his gaze to our laps. I was still fiddling with the beautiful ring of precious metals. "Allow me." He mumbled taking the ring from my hand and placing it on. After he did so, he placed several kisses down my knuckles. I giggled slightly and kissed his cheek in return. Roger looked at me and began to get lost in my eyes-but who am I to judge? I was mirroring his actions.

"I love you, John Richard Deacon."

"I love you mo, Roger Meddows Taylor."
