Chapter Twenty

"Close your eyes."
"Better not be peeking, Shitty hair!"
Apparently they had arrived at their destination. Izuku and Kirishima had been told to close their eyes, and with a confused glance at each other, they did it.
Izuku felt them moving at a downward slope, and heard the faint sound of water. A smile creeped across his face.
"Where are we now?" Izuku said, laughing a little.
"You can open them now."
Izuku opened his eyes.
They were in a cove next to a lake. There was a blanket, with bowls of food, and drinks. On each side of the blanket, there were two bathing suits. Bakugo and Todoroki walked over to the blanket, and set down their boyfriends.
"Did you guys do this?" Izuku looked into Todoroki's eyes.
Todoroki blushed a little and smiled a little. "Maybe. Bakugo helped."
Izuku got up and wrapped Todoroki in a hug.
"Why'd you do all this?"
"We all need an escape. We thought this would be nice."
"It's better than nice."
Izuku gave Todoroki a kiss.
"Get your suits on, we're swimming!" Bakugo said, seeming actually quite excited.
His bandages were gone, and the scars seemed to be healing.
Izuku smiled to himself knowing that they were all getting along.
"Where should we change?" Izuku was looking around for an area to change, though there wasn't many private areas, considering where they were.
"Kirishima and I get that corner, you and Icy Hot can get that one."
Izuku felt himself turn red.

They finished changing, and though it was a new suit the Izuku had never seen before, it fit perfectly.
' So Sho did his research.'
"C'mon hop in!" Bakugo jumped right into the water. "Holy shit that's cold!"
Kirishima walked to the edge of the water, and Bakugo pulled him in.
"What the hell! Screw you!" Kirishima laughed and splashed Bakugo.
"Yeah, do screw me." Izuku heard Bakugo mutter under his breath. Kirishima splashed him again.
Todoroki slipped into the water, pulling Izuku in with him. As usual, Todoroki had small reaction to the cold, and Izuku shivered.
"Jeez, you're right Kacchan! It's really c-c-c-c-c-cold!" Izuku exaggerated shivering.
"Don't be a wuss Deku!" Bakugo splashed Izuku a bit with the water.
"Ah!" Izuku splashed him back.
"Is this a challenge?"
"I think you know the answer to that."
As soon as the first splash was splashed, the last one was. Bakugo and Izuku were drenched, and Though Todoroki and Kirishima were on the sidelines, they got equally wet.
"The war over yet?" Kirishima was hiding his face with his hands. His hair was soaking a fell into his eyes.
"Sure, I surrender!" Izuku's hair was drenched, and fell into his face.
"And I win, as always!" Bakugo's hair was in the same condition as Izuku's, and he was standing with pride. Kirishima splashed him a little. "Don't get so cocky, or I'll have to challenge you!"
"Fine. I win most of the time!"
Kirishima rolled his eyes.
Izuku couldn't help but smile. It was nice to see Bakugo back with his usual confidence. Seeing him how he was just brought Izuku's spirits down.

They swam for about an hour, and after they dried off and started to eat. Izuku and Kirishima's towels both seemed to be new as they both smiled at them. Izuku's was an All Might towel, and Kirishima's was Crimson Riot. Kirishima wrapped the towel around himself, and then wrapped Bakugo in a hug with it. "Aw, Babe! Did you get this for me?"
Bakugo blushed a little, and nodded. "Yeah, maybe."
Kirishima kissed Bakugo and sat down.
"Bakugo and I made soba together, each one is custom as to how you like it. Dig in!" Todoroki smiled with an excitement he normally didn't have. They all tried a bite together, and could all agree, it was delicious. Kirishima smiled an unabashed open toothed smile. "You two've outdone yourselves!"
Izuku nodded and smiled. "It's amazing! Sho, I didn't know you could cook like this!"
Todoroki smiled a bit and took a bite. "I've learned to cook over time, and I had Bakugo's help."
Bakugo laughed, and took a slurp of his soba.
"I'd say we did a pretty fucking good job." Bakugo looked at Todoroki. "What do you think Icy Hot?"
Todoroki took a slurp and nodded.
"Agreed. Oh, don't forget dessert."
Bakugo took another box from the bag.
"Round face helped us make mochi."
Izuku smiled to himself and thought 'Even Uraraka was in on it!'
Bakugo pulled a few sodas from the bag too. "Drinks too." He threw a drink to everyone and cracked open his.
"Cheers to friendship? I guess you can call it that. Cheers to friendship!" Bakugo raised his can for a toast. Izuku was taken aback that Bakugo had considered him a friend, and Todoroki. He raised his can, and Todoroki and Kirishima followed suit.
"Cheers to friendship!" They all laughed and took a sip.
"Thanks. Thanks so much you two, it means a lot that you did all this, but it means more that you got past your differences and worked together. Wait, did Aizawa make you do this?" Izuku wondered if this was all a part of a plan Mr. Aizawa had made for them to get past their differences.
"Hell no! Can't I just do something nice for a change? I just wanna not be an asshole for once!"
"Bakugo is right, we decided we needed to fix our bond for the benefit of all of us. It was necessary. And fun."
"It's nice that you two can be friends."
Izuku laid on on Todoroki's lap, and he wrapped his arms around Izuku. Todoroki laid a kiss on Izuku's forehead. Izuku never thought of Bakugo as the huggy type, but out the corner of his eye, he saw Bakugo lay into Kirishima's lap, and him tussle around Bakugo's hair.

At around 5'o clock, they decided to head back.
"Oh yeah, Aizawa said he lifted to restraining order thing, because of good behavior or whatever. So, stop by whenever, or, don't be surprised if I barge into your room, Deku."
Izuku smiled. "Sounds Good!"
In the middle of his sentence, Todoroki swooped him up, once again.
"Really? Again?" Izuku crossed his arms, and made a fake pouting face, though he secretly enjoyed it.
"Yup, don't complain, I can tell you enjoy it." Todoroki smiled at Izuku. Izuku closed his eyes and replayed the events of the day. Everything was finally normal. Better than normal.

Things were great.
