Everybody Wants To Rule The World

Umm,,, what is this,,, two chapters in one day,,,?? Yes cause um im a sucker for the sports festival arc but at the same time i hate it and want it over with, so heres some dramatic shit just pretend i can actually write well :)

"YOU GOT THIS IZU!" You screamed, practically falling over the railing as you watched your brother break his fingers to release himself from the general studies kid's hold. He was Shinsou Hitoshi, you knew that now, but you didn't have enough respect in your heart from what he did to Ojiro during the calvary battle to refer to him as anything other then the general studies kid.

Of course, Izuku practically creamed the purple haired twerp, and you lost your mind over his win, scaring the crap out of the rest of your class and class 1-B in the process.

"(Y/n)! Please sit down, it is disrespectful to scream like this during a battle!"

You glanced over your shoulder at Iida, the stiff boy shaking his arm at you like a robot. All you could do in response was blow a rasperry at him before going back to hooting and hollering for your younger brother.

"You should get going, (y/n). You're up against Kaminari next."

You nodded at Ochako, leaping from your seat and laughing excitedly as you made your way down to the arena. Tetsutetsu would be facing off against Kirishima right now, and it just made you giggle even more. The two practically had the same quirk, as well as fighting style and personality, so this battle should end fairly interestingly.

"Hey, you ready?"

You looked up to see Kaminari leaning against the wall that lead into the arena. He looked just as nervous as you felt.

"As ready as I'll ever be."

"That's the spirit."

You walked over to his side, ruffling his blonde hair and giggling again as sparks made contact with your hands. "You're gonna do fine, Denk. Just try your hardest."

"I just don't want you to blow my eardrums out!" He whined, looking at you with a puppydog face.

You huffed, "then I'll use my other quirk, I like you too much to hurt you anyways."

He paused, eyes widening, "wait, wha-"

"And now, Kaminari Denki and (l/n) (f/n)!"

Nodding to the blonde, you both walked into the arena together, waving up at the stands. The sheer noise that bounced down to you was astounding, and it made you want to take your hearing aids out more then anything. But, for this round at least, you would leave them be in order to use your second quirk to its full potential.

"And, BEGIN!"

You jumped as Hizashi's loud voice rang around you, and yelped as Kaminari started firing off sparks in every direction. He was going for his biggest move first? Such a bad idea, he would go brain dead after that!

Your mouth moved faster then your brain did, praying at you could reach him over the crackling of his electricity. Throwing up an arm to try and protect yourself, your lips parted and your eyes closed. "Help me to decide," your mind reeled, but you weren't about to stop. Why Lorde, of all singers? "Help me make the most of freedom," you could hear the crackling start to die, and as you opened your eyes you saw the glazed look in Kaminari's eyes. It was working. "And of pleasure-" you stood now, walking towards him as the electricity died completely. "Nothing ever lasts forever," you reached him, placing your hands delicately on his chest and trailing them up to his collar, grabbing it tightly. It felt as though the world was exploding around you, your heart on fire with excitement. You started walking forwards, Kaminari walking backwards, eyes still glazed over and under your control. Music thrummed around you, your quirk taking over the instrumental part as you sang, using the hypnosis aspect of your quirk.

You smiled at Kaminari, watching as the entranced blonde smiled back weakly.  "Everybody wants to rule the world-" as the bass hit, you pushed him backwards. The boy collapsed out of the ring, music crashing around the stadium and filling the crushing silence.

Suddenly screams of excitement erupted from the audience, making you jump out of shock. Cheering? They were cheering for you? Blinking widely, you released your hold on Kaminari and helped the still dazed boy to his feet.

You had shown them. You would win the sports festival, fair and square, and you would give it everything you ever had. You would show them. Show them that you were anything but a weakling. That you were not a force to be reckoned with.
