Just a short chappie to tie yall over till I put out my real in depth stuff. Have a great morning/day/evening/night guys!! 🥰

She was tied down to the bed in Recovery Girl's office when he entered, dressed in civilian clothes now that the Sports Festival was over. He wanted to come earlier, but it wasn't possible. The pros needed to collect the crowd and make it seem as though this was a natural occurance.

He took note of the fact that she was still sleeping, her face more peaceful then he had ever seen her. Hearing aids were placed in a plastic cup on the bedside table.

"An agency in America called over today."

He looked to the little old lady, blonde bun swinging at the sudden turn. "For her?"

She nodded, walking back to the girl to sit on a chair near the bed. "Apparently this isn't the first time this has happened. They believe it's a form of PTSD reaction to something that happened in her childhood."

He stepped closer, taking a seat in the chair at the end of the bed. "She was adopted probably around ten years ago."

"Thirteen," Chyko corrected, taking her mask off to rub at her forehead. "I was there when they brought her home, since I volunteered to be the co-signer to her adoption papers. She was so small then."

"What happened to her?"

The older woman sighed, looking at the young adult. "She wouldn't eat, told us she would rather die then stay in the foster homes and orphanages. I'm glad Inko took her in when she did, the poor girl wouldn't have made it out alive."

It was silent for a moment, Hizashi Yamada taking the time to process the information given to him. "Why did this happen today?"

"I'm not quite sure, but I wish I did. The adoption center told Inko and I that she was a delicate case. They wouldn't disclose the full incident, but she got stuck with a group of villians for a while before they were able to repossess her-"

"Don't say repossess, it sounds like we're talking about a car or a house."

"Fine, take her back. According to them she was in horrible shape, and went into fits fairly often. Certain things would trigger them, but they could never find what her triggers were."

It was quiet again, the only noise the whirring of the small fan in the corner.

"You really like her, don't you, Yamada."

He jumped a bit at the sudden question, rubbing the back of his head. "What makes you say that? I wouldn't say I like her as any more then a-"

"Friend?"

He looked to the old woman, catching the smirk on her face. "Yamada, I haven't ever seen you this hung up on someone since you attended UA."

He slumped in his chair, putting his head between his knees. "Okay, maybe a little. She's here to learn, though, and I don't want to get in the way of that."

Chyko chuckled, looking back to the sleeping girl. "Hizashi Yamada, get your ass in gear. This girl is over the moon for you."

"And how would you know?"

She just chuckled again, grabbing the tiny hand of the (h/c) girl on the bed. "Because she looks at you like you're the only person on the entire planet."

The door slammed open, green hair shaking wildly as the youngest Midoriya charged into the office, breathing heavily. "Is she okay? How's she doing? Is she breathing? What are her vitals? Is she hurt? Did any of that glass get her? What was that? Why did she lose it like that? Is she awake ye-"

The older lady smacked him upside the head, effectively silencing the teen. "Your sister is perfectly fine, except for a few bumps and bruises here and there. She just had an episode, and she'll be back to normal when she wakes up."

Izuku Midoriya visibly breathed out a sigh of relief. "Thank you so much."

"You're welcome. Now, go see her before your head explodes."

The green haired boy practically bounced to the bedside, catching sight of the pro in civilian clothes. "O-oh! Present Mic! What are you doing here?"

"Just about to leave," Hizashi stood, looking down at her frail form strapped to the bed once more. "Tell her I say hi when she wakes up."

"W-will do, sir!"

Letting out the breath he had unintentionally been holding, he took his leave. But, not without looking back at the tiny girl. The girl he had so hopelessly fallen in love with.
