Hives are biters that have been infested with insects, this usually occurs if they die near a hive of insects which then inhabit their dead body, once the body is reanimated the hive decides to stay in the zombie as its safer from predators and the zombie doesn't intefer with the hive. The hives found within Hive Zombies are usually wasps, hornets or bees and are usually found in rural or wooded areas, Hives are hard to combat in close quarters as the inhabitants on the Hive tend to attack the human too acting as a defensive barrier, it is safer to avoid Hives but if you don't have an option try and take them out from far away. Hive Zombies usually have the hive in one of three places on their bodies, the most common one is their stomach as its all soft tissue which makes it easier for the insects to setup their hive, the second one is inside the hosts ribcage which provides more protection for the hive but takes longer for the hive to fully develop and last place is the head, the insects build the hive around the zombies head creating a helmet like structure to protect the zombies brain. Hives have pale skin, black stains around the body especially around the hive, cloudy eyes if they have any, a big hive somewhere on their body and a they have their respective insect surrounding some of their body.
