The next afternoon I woke up pretty happy. It was my off day and I could just chill. Plus I was going out with Tanner later.

I got up and stretched before opening my bedroom door. Of course I bumped into Ethan. We locked eyes and I diverted my gaze quickly. All I could hear in my head was Savannah and him moaning and groaning.

"My bad," I mumbled and rushed into the bathroom before it could get any more awkward. I did my business and brushed my teeth while I was in there, trying not to think about last night. When I was finished, I grabbed my phone off of the charger and scrolled through my notifications. Tanner had asked me for my address, so I sent it to him. He said he'd be around to pick me up at 7. He wouldn't tell me where we were going though.

I went to the kitchen and made myself some cereal and coffee. Ethan strolled into the kitchen in sweats with wet hair. He was making it reeeally hard for me not to check him out.

"Any coffee left?" he asked. I hummed and took a sip of my coffee. He poured himself a cup while I stared at his back. There were little red marks running down his shoulder blades. Ha, she called those scratches? I could do so much bett- "You alright?"

I snapped out of my dirty thoughts and nodded, "Um yeah, was just thinking."

"Okay," he chuckled breathily, "Thanks for the coffee."

"No problem," I responded. I facepalmed when he walked into the living room. Could 7 pm get here already?! Ethan turned on my favorite show, Riverdale, and I smirked. I'd forced him to watch it once when Alyssa was working late.

Flashback

"Riverdale? More like Riverfail," he scoffed.

"Come on Ethan, please?" I begged. We were sitting on the couch scrolling through Netflix.

"No fucking way am I watching that," He shook his head, "We're watching Trailer Park Boys." I snatched the game controller from him and clicked on Riverdale anyway. "Hey!"

"Shh, just watch it. You'll like it, I promise," I bat my eyelashes and stuck my pinky out.

He groaned and wrapped his pinky around mine, "Fine, but only cause Alyssa's not here and cause you pinky promised."

"Yay!"

"And we're watching Trailer Park Boys next."

End Of Flashback

We ended up watching 3 episodes of Riverdale that night. He wouldn't admit it, but I knew he liked the show.

I finished my coffee and cereal and put my dishes in the sink. I plopped next to Ethan on the couch and he looked over at me.

"What you smirking for?" he asked.

"I knew you liked this show."

"Yeah right, I chose it on accident," he said unconvincingly.

"Suuure. Come on, press play," I got comfortable on the couch. He rolled his eyes and tried to hold back a smile before he pressed play.

_

We'd been watching Riverdale for about an hour and a half.

"So it had to be her right? She killed her brother," Ethan said focusing on the TV.

"Why would she kill her own brother if they were so close?"

"Exactly, too close. Incest-y close. He was probably gonna out their secret relationship and she freaked and killed him."

I facepalmed and groaned, "What? That's a little far fetched."

"I don't think anything in this show is far fetched anymore. I mean Archie's fucking his teacher-"

I cut him off, "Archie's fucking hot, though."

Ethan scoffed, "He's not hotter than me."

"In your dreams, E," I laughed, even though I secretly agreed.

Ethan put his hand to his chest to feign hurt, "I believe Savannah would agree." Ugh, there it was. I played off my annoyance by pushing his shoulder. We finished the episode we were on and Ethan got up to get something to eat. I looked at the time: 4:36 pm. Only a few hours to go.

_

I pushed my hair behind my shoulders and admired my outfit in the mirror. Since Tanner didn't wanna tell me where we were going I dressed semi-casually. I wore a red crop top and black ripped jeans with black boots and my black jean jacket. I put on mascara, eyeliner, and lipgloss.

It was 6:54 and Tanner had texted saying he was almost at my place.

I grabbed my wallet and phone and slipped them into my jacket pockets. I turned my bedroom light off and shut the door behind me. Ethan was sitting on the couch typing on his phone.

"I'm going out, don't wait up," I said and his head snapped in my direction. He turned in his spot and looked me up and down causing me to look down at the ground.

"Where you goin'? If you don't mind me asking."

"On a date."

"You look really nice, Harp," he said and my knees went a little weak. Harp. I looked up at him again.

"Thanks, E," My phone buzzed in my pocket and I checked it. It was Tanner saying he was outside. "He's here, I gotta go. See you later, weirdo."

Ethan rolled his eyes playfully and got up to close the door behind me. I shook off more intrusive thoughts about him and took my ass outside. Tanner was pulled up right in front of the complex when I walked out. A smile spread across my face when he got out of his car.

"You look amazing, Harper," he smiled and came over to take my hand.

"Why thank you, handsome," I flirted. He was wearing a leather jacket, a blue shirt, black jeans, and boots similar to mine. He opened the passenger's door and closed it behind me once I was in the car. He hopped in as well and we pulled away from the complex. "So, can I know where we're going now?"

"You'll see when we get there," he smirked. I rolled my eyes and got comfortable in my seat. I hated surprises and really just wanted to know where he was taking me, but I let it slide.
