Chapter 12

Andrew leaves and I stay up texting him about the plan for tomorrow. We were going to go up to her during cheerleading practice, arm in arm. Then he'd explain and break up with her. Then Reilley would freak our blah blah.

During PE in the morning Andrew and I go over the plan. We got Ella in on it and she would make sure Reilley didn't do anything stupid afterwards. Cheerleading practice happens to be when I have study hall, Ella doesn't care, and Andrew usually goes to the cheerleading practice with the other football players.

After a very long first five periods, study hall finally comes. I meet Ella by the door to the football field where the cheerleaders have practice. Andrew's sitting at the top of the bleachers in the far left corner. Ella and I are wearing hats so the cheerleaders don't recognize us. We walk over to Andrew and sit down.

"Good, you're here," He says when we sit down. "I was beginning to think you weren't coming"

"What do you mean," Ella and I ask at the same time."6th period just started" Andrew smiles.

"I was just messing with you," He laughs and kisses my cheek. "Now we just have to wait until they take a break. Which actually didn't take very long, after about 10 minutes they took a break. Engage operation: break up. Step 1: Andrew and I go up to her arm in arm. Reilley looks away from talking to her 'peeps' and sees us. She looked very ticked off.

"What's this," Reilley asks crossing her arms.

"First, Delilah is not a what she is a who," Andrew says. "Second, I'm breaking up with you, for real this time." Reilley is shocked.

"This isn't really you breaking up with me, that one just has you under some spell," Reilley says pointing at me.

"Come back and see me in a week, I won't want to get back together with you, come back in a month, I still won't, come back in a year for all I care, but we are never getting back together."

"Did you just quote Taylor Swift," Reilley asks.

"So what if I did, you know that girl Ash you bullied?" Reilley nods. "Ya that's Delilah's sister you- never mind, I had broken up with you, but you forced me into it."

"You weren't bullying her! Lesbians, gays, transgender and bisexuals should just go die. They don't deserve to live!" Reilley yells at Andrew. He goes to punch her, but I hold him back.

"Andrew she isn't worth it," I say.

"You're right, she isn't," Andrew steps back. "We. Are. Through." Andrew says and we walk away. Ella comes up behind Reilley and starts to talk to her.

"We did it," I say smiling.

"We did didn't we," Andrew picking me up and over his shoulder.

"Put me down," I scream, laughing at the same time. He carries me to the frozen yogurt place and puts me down.
