Chapter 3

I continued to not pay attention all day. I couldn't get it out of my head that Andrew Walker had asked me out. At the end of the day I walked to the frozen yogurt place listening to Habits(Stay High) By Tove Lo

"I've gotta stay high, all my life, to keep" I sing, but I'm interrupted.

"You have a very pretty voice" Andrew says standing behind me. I blush and turn around.

"Hi Andrew," I say shyly. He takes my hand and leads me into the frozen yogurt place.

"Come on," Andrew says. "What's your favorite flavor?"

"Um anything really," I say looking at the flavors.

"Why don't I surprise you," He asks but doesn't wait for a response. I walk to a table for two and sit down. I pull out my book and start reading.

"Whatcha reading," Andrew asks coming back with the frozen yogurt. I jump in my seat.

"You scared me," I say smiling. He laughs and sits down across from me. "I'm reading Graceling." I hand him the book so he can look at it and take a bite of my frozen yogurt. He reads the description and slams the book down. I gasp.

"I need to know more," he says to me. "Could I borrow that when you're finished with it?"

"As long as you only throw it or slam it down if you're frustrated with the characters" I say laughing but totally dead serious.

"Of course"

"Well, I'd better get going," I stand up and start to leave, but Andrew grabs my hand and kisses it. When he let's go of my hand I walk quickly out the door and home.
