/Roman's P.O.V/

Tears were beading down my face as Anxiety spoke with sadness etched in his voice.  All I could do was stare at him... all I could do was look at him because soon... he wouldn't be there anymore... wait NO!  He is going to live... he has too...

"Maybe it would be best if you tagged along but you must not under any circumstances try to do anything without me giving you the okay." Anxiety said with an almost pleading voice but I was glad that he was letting us come along so I nodded.

"Patton." He turned towards the dad trait in a serious manner.

"Yeah, kiddo? What is it?" Patton asked eyes red and puffy.

"I need you to not let them get through your barrier you hear me? If you do then The Man can hurt you guys as well." Anxiety's voice did not waver.  It was calm and sharp as he spoke.

"Anx, I can't what if you-" Patton whined.

"No. I need you to promise me." He looked directly into Patton's eyes which was unusual for him since he hated eye contact.  "I need you to promise me that you will not they your shield down under any circumstances."

Shield? What shield?  Is that Patton's power?

Patton started crying once again but he accepted "Alright kiddo... I promise." he looked down defeated.

Anxiety hugged him and then turned towards Logan.  "Help Patton and keep Thomas under control for me kay?" Wait... no, he has to be here.  He isn't going to die... Thomas needs him... I need him...

Logan nodded and I felt myself tighten Logan didn't seem like he cared at all.  I mean, I know that he doesn't have emotion but God damn!  Anxiety was sacrificing himself for us... yet he doesn't even care.

Despite the emotionless response from Logan Anxiety smiled giving me a quick nod before turning and walking towards his room with us following close behind.

All that I could do was look at his back his thin shoulders.  He was so frail yet he has been holding the world on those thin shoulders for so long... for so long without any help.

We got to Anxiety's room he stood there for a minute looking at its black peeling paint.

I put my hand on his shoulder "You don't have to do this..."  He looked at me and smiled with sad eyes before turning back to the door and opening it.

We walked inside the dark room which was a mess but I didn't pay much attention to that.  He walked to the back of his room to a black wall making frankly all of us confused.

He stood there and then traced his fingers on the black wall chanting something under his breath when a red light appeared much like blood seeping the cracks of what seemed to be a door that led to an endless void.

He looked back at us and nodded before walking inside the door and disappearing.

I gulped I was scared... me the Prince was scared.  The room emitted off a feeling of sorrow and smells like rotting corpses.  My eyes watered and Patton covered his nose while Logan scrunched his face up to show his displeasure but as I think back to it... Anxiety... didn't seem to notice.

I took a quick breath before walking into the void with the other two following behind me.

What I saw took my breath away.  The place had a red sky with black and grey clouds.  The moon was blood red and the ground held no signs of life.  It was dirt and rubble from what looked like colleseum buildings from ancient times.
