/Patton's P.O.V/
Logan's room was a disaster; I couldn't help but feel like I wasn't doing enough for him as a boyfriend... and that terrified me. First, I couldn't even be a parent now I can't be a boyfriend... maybe something's wrong with me?
We were now sitting here after I desperately attempted to get Roman to open up to me, maybe, just maybe I could be a good friend... but again; I failed.
"So what did you need to ask me, Roman?" Logan spoke in a rather scratchy voice and I could tell he had been crying.
Roman scratched the back of his head signaling that he was nervous before he continued. "Well, when do you think the new Anxiety is going to appear?"
Both Logan and my eyes went wide as Logan exclaimed "What?"
I heard that if one of us were to fade there would be one that would take their place but the thought never once crossed my mind. Someone, to replace Virgil?
Roman shrunk back like he regretted what he said: "T-the new Anxiety that appears after..." He trailed off his eyes darting to the side.
Logan's eyes widened at Roman as a seeming realization hit him "How did I not see it before?!" He exclaimed with an almost 'mad man' look in his eyes.
"What?! What didn't you see before?" I called startled as Logan stood up heading upstairs towards our rooms.
"Where are you going?? Roman called after him.
He looked back at the two of us a smile I have never seen on him before spreading across his face.
"I think I know how to bring our Anxiety back... our Virgil back." Logan breathed making me spring up and follow quickly behind him.
"What do you mean you know how to bring him back?!" Roman exclaimed breathlessly as he made it behind me.
Logan turned towards Virgil's old room. None of us had been in there yet we couldn't take it.
We made it to the slowly fading room as Logan creaked open the door without flinching while as I did.
The smell of Anxiety's room brought tears to my eyes. His walls were slowly disappearing and the posters it once held were starting to rip.
"As I thought!" Logan yelled looking at us with a dignified smile across his face.
"What Lo- what is it?" I couldn't stand being in this room much longer... it was only a reminder and I could see that Roman was not handling it too well.
"What do you mean huh?! Are you just trying to pull open old wounds because you can't feel anything?!" Roman screamed turning towards Logan with a rage in his eyes. "Do you just want to make us hurt so you can do one of your little experiments?!" He stalked up to Logan grabbing him by the collar lifting him up the wall.
"Roman Sanders!" I yelled in my dad-voice causing him to look at me but the moment he did tears started streaking down his face.
"I'm sorry... I'm so sorry..." He sobbed letting Logan fall to the ground as he pulled his sash into his face. "I'm sorry..."
"No-no kiddo; it's okay. It's not your fault." I went to his side wrapping my arm around him after shooting Logan a 'are you good' look to which he nodded to.
"Wh-what do you m-mean?" The normally full-of-himself trait cried as he looked up at me with pleading eyes. "I-it's all my fault..."
I looked into his eyes and pulled him into a tighter hug. "It was never your fault. It was never your fault kiddo."
He hiccuped a little before pulling away and wiping his eyes.
I patted him on the back before turning to Logan who was looking around the room as if examining it.
"So... Lo- why did you bring us up here?"
He looked at me "I wanted to see if Anxiety's room had yet faded."
"But why?" Roman asked obviously still upset that he was in his dead lover's room.
"Well," Logan straightened his glasses. "As you are aware that a new Anxiety should have appeared after Vigil... 'left' if that is how I should put it." He moved rather uncomfortably. "Then if a new Anxiety has yet to appear than maybe just maybe Anxiety is still alive."
"So what your saying is..." I started but got cut off.
"... if Virgil's room was still intact then that means that Anxiety must still be present; at least his aura. I mean haven't you noticed that Thomas hasn't been acting very reckless although he seems a little too carefree for my liking."
I looked awestricken as I stared at him my mouth hanging open. "So you mean we can save Virgil?"
He looked at me with hope in his eyes "In theory; yes."
Roman stood up looking relieved as he rushed to Logan pulling him into a hug; tears falling down his eyes. "I'm sorry Logan! I'm sorry I didn't mean anything I said... I just miss him so much..."
Logan straightened uncomfortably before melting into the hug as tears began to fall down his face as well "No Roman, it's my fault. I do not know how to express such things as feelings, and I didn't realize that it could hurt you all."
They both hugged for a while they cried. I couldn't take this moment anymore as I ran up to them jumping into the hug.
"Awe you guys!!" I smiled as I knocked them over onto the floor.
We all chuckled a little before Roman stood up wiping his suit off as he looked at the two of us smiling and looking into each other's eyes as we pulled into a tender kiss forgetting that Roman was in the same room until he said something that pulled us both out of the moment.
"You two are so cute together." We both shot up and as I looked at him I could see a longing look in his eyes making me instantly regret doing this sort of thing in front of him.
"Thank you, Roman," Logan spoke with a little smile on his face but also a sorry look in his eyes.
"It's alright Logan... I'm just happy for the two of you." I smiled lightly at that. "So, how do we get our emo nightmare back?"
I looked at Logan as he breathed in "It's not going to be easy."
"That's okay, love isn't easy," Roman said in a rather confident tone.
I smiled seeing that he was doing better.
He looked at us up and down before sighing "But first you guys need to sleep once you get the required amount of sleep than we will figure out our next move."
He both sighed and after a bit of arguing we trudged off the bed and before I drifted off I began to think if Anxiety would be the same whenever he came back.
