CHAPTER 2:
THE BOY AND GIRL IN THE ICE.
Anisha P.O.V.

I didn't know what was happening around me, but I felt grateful for what came next. I felt my body start to be moved, a fresh breath of air enter my lungs and I gasped out, my eyes opening for the first time in so long.

And the first thing I saw was a man hovering above me.

"AH!"

"AAH!"

I shrieked and the man above me then screamed as I sent a small tornado to push him off of me, and he landed in a body of water.

"Anisha!" I heard the voice of my little brother as he tackled me in a hug, and I graciously hugged him back.

"Aang, who was that? What. . .what's going on?" I immediately asked, grabbing him by the shoulders.

"I don't know his name yet, but come on!" Grabbing my hand and pulling me up this ice rock, he let go of before slipping down and happily hugging Appa.

This ice. . .what's it doing here?

Why is it caved in like this?

Just as I was about to let my thoughts wander, Appa blew a gust of wind into my face, calling out for me with a grunt. I slid down the ice, making sure that I was steady as I was enveloped in his warm fur.

"Appa," I breathed out, loving the warmth Appa provided with his thick fur in this cold environment. His low purring brought me comfort as I looked at the two people before us.

"What is that thing?!" The man from earlier shrieked, pointing at Appa.

"This is Appa, my flying bison," Aang grinned.

He's never seen a flying bison?

"Yeah, and this is Katara, my flying sister," The man spoke with sarcasm as he crossed his arms and Appa started wheezing.

And here we go.

I quickly ducked down, along with my brother, as Appa sneezed and a large amount of snot sprung from his nose and hit the man. I grinned as he started to shriek, giggling to myself.

No man who screams like that is any harm to us.

"Ah! Ew, ew, ew! Aagh!" He shrieked.

"Don't worry, it'll wash off," Aang told him.

"Unless it freezes," I smirked as he tried to scrape it off of his face, glaring daggers at me.

"So, do you guys live around here?" Aang asked casually.

The man pointed his weapon at my brother, "Don't answer that!" He said to his sister.

"Didn't you see that bolt of light? He was probably trying to signal the Fire Navy."

Signal the Fire Navy?
