Helena P.O.V
Note: everything it is with a * it's a though. Enjoy the reading💓 I know it's super cringy but ok.We got in the car, this time Caleb didn't take us but Ally's father. He told us he needed to change gas, so we went to a gas station. When Ally's father got out of the car, Ally started telling me that she had danced with a lot of guys and that she had had a great time. She talked a lot about a special boy, with whom she had danced first.
- He was very attractive. she said to me- an awful dancer, but he had beautiful eyes. It was really a hot guy. I don't know if he studies here, I've never seen him.I was going to tell him about Matt, the boy who now had my number, but Ally was so excited talking about everything that I just wanted to listen, another day I would tell her about my adventure.
When I arrived at my house, my mom began the typical interrogation of;
- Did you drank?
- No
Did you smoke?
- Nope
- Did you do something that could be considered illegal?
- Of course not
- that's good. Did you have a good time?
- Yes momMy parents trust my word and that is enough for them. I have never gotten in trouble and I don't go out much. I'm not even close to being a perfect daughter, with all my trusting issues and dark thoughts, sometimes I think I'm just a burden. But I can say with total honesty that I have never been drunk or had problems with a boyfriend (you can not have problems with a boyfriend who has never existed) or have had fights with other girls at school (that would mean talking to them, and in school I only talk with Ally). My parents have no reason to distrust really.
I go up the stairs and enter my room. It is my safe place. The walls are covered with bookshelves, over my bed I have I have some aesthetics light and pictures with Ally, with my parents and with my cousin Sara, who is with Ally my best friend, we're the same age and it would be very cool if we went to the same school, but she goes to a private school in Fremont. I love her, in truth she is almost a role model for me. She is so brave, so extroverted and she encourages me to go out of my comfort zone in a way that is not aggressive, which sometimes happens with Ally.
I'm tired. I look and it's almost 3 AM, I propose to sleep when my cellphone vibrates and I see this message;
Unknown number: Hey, it's Matt, the one you hit twice this week!
Helena: HAHAHA, get over it
Matt: I won't get over it unless you invite me an ice cream someday. It's a fair deal.
Helena: Hum, I'll think about it
Matt: you should say yes you know. That would mean going on a date with me
Helena: And what makes you think I want a date with you?
Matt: I have your number ¿remember?
you don't look like a person who gives his number to the first one he sees at a party
Matt: Besides, who doesn't want a date with this guy?
Helena: So vain🙄
Matt:
Oh my god, he is so arrogant. But in a way I like it, its security is so cute, and I could say even it's kinda hot. I wish I could say things like that, believe things like that about myself.Matt: r u still there?
Helena: yeah
Matt: well, when I would get my ice cream?I don't know if I want to do this, but I'm 16 and I have never had a boyfriend or even a date. So yeah, maybe this could be the first time, he's a nice guy, I don't think we would do anything wrong.
Helena: how about Tuesday?
Matt: Sounds cool. After school?
Helena: yes, there's a café really near the school.
Matt: ok, you choose the place because I don't know any place anywhere HAHAHA we're going on my car no?
Helena: Do you have one?!
Matt: Oh yes, in my 18 birthday they give one, it's not the best but works like a beast.
Helena: So yeah, Tuesday no?
Matt: it's a date. Good night, pretty girl
Helena: Good night *handsome boy*Oh my gosh, I'm soooo excited. He is very funny and sweet, and it's really handsome by the way. I've never have a date before, I'm going to ask for advice to Ally. She's kinda an expert.'
