Chapter 13

They both continued working. After sometime Mark went to the bathroom which was attached to his office cabin.

Suddenly his phone started ringing. Rosé thought of answering it when she saw that Mark was nowhere. She took his phone. It was an unknown number. She answered it. Before she could greet the person, the person on the other side started speaking and she froze. Her body shivered in fear after hearing that deep voice. Her eyes were filled with tears.

"Hyung?" The person said. Just when the phone was about to drop from her hand, Mark came out from the washroom. He came and stood beside Rosé and was shocked to see her state.

"Baby what happened?" He asked but she didn't reply. Then he noticed his phone in her hands and took it from her.

"Hello? Who is this?" Mark asked through the phone.

"Hyung~ I m-miss y-you, I w-want to m-meet you h-hyung" the person said. His voice was trembling and of regret. Mark clenched his fist in anger.

"How dare you!? Don't you ever try to call me! I have nothing to do with you!" Mark yelled through the phone making Rosé flinch. He hung up without caring about what the other person had to say. Mark threw his phone on the table and sighed. He turned to Rosé and her eyes were wide in shock.

"Baby are you-"

"Y-you k-know him?" She asked and Mark shut his mouth immediately. He sighed and ran his fingers through his hair.

"Baby listen to me-"

"I asked you something Mark!" She shouted and her tears flowed down her cheeks.

"Baby I-I-"

"Please tell m-me you d-don't k-know him, please!" She cried as she held Mark's shirt.

Mark sighed and pulled her into a hug. She buried her head in the crook of his neck and wrapped her arms around his neck and cried. Mark wrapped one of his arms around her waist and other one around her shoulder tightly and buried his head in her shoulder.

Just then the door opened and Jackson entered. He noticed that Rosé was crying and stood there shocked. Mark shook his head at Jackson mouthing a 'not now' to him. Jackson nodded and walked out. Rosé continued crying without noticing anything. His shirt was wet but he didn't mind. Mark drew small circles on her back. He kissed her shoulder and rested his head there. When she finally stopped crying, Mark broke the hug and cupped her cheeks.

"Baby are you okay?" He asked. She nodded still looking at him with a frown.

"You know him right?" She asked and Mark nodded slowly.

Rosé sighed. She knew she couldn't do anything about that. Now she was embarrassed for crying like a baby in front of him. But she couldn't deny the fact that she felt safe in his arms like she never did before. Her cheeks were pink in embarrassment. Mark noticed and smiled. He pulled her closer and kissed her forehead softly. She felt the electricity pass through her and closed her eyes. He continued down to her eyes, then cheeks and finally he kissed both the corners of her lips. He pulled away and smiled at her while she blushed.

"I w-want to g-go to the b-bathroom" She stuttered and ran into the bathroom blushing.

Mark chuckled but it was replaced by a frown when he recalled what happened earlier. He called Jackson into his cabin.

"Hyung, is everything alright?" He asked. Before Mark could reply Rosé walked out of the washroom.

"Oh hey Jackson" Rosé greeted smiling.

"Hi noona" Jackson smiled. Jackson knew that they couldn't talk in front of Rosé by Mark's expression. So he acted quickly.

"Hyung I want to show you something, can we go to my cabin?" Jackson said and Mark nodded. Rosé sat at her table and continued her work. They both walked to his cabin. Jackson turned towards Mark.

"What is it hyung?" He asked and Mark sighed.

"He called me" Mark said and Jackson was shocked.

"He called you?!" Jackson exclaimed.

"Yah! Don't shout! He called me and unfortunately Rosé answered the call. I was in the bathroom" Mark said. Jackson nodded.

"But from where did he get your number hyung?" Jackson asked.

"Even I'm clueless Gaga" Mark said.
"What if  Yugyeom gave it to him?" Jackson asked.

"No he wouldn't do that" Mark said.

"It's the only way hyung" Jackson said and Mark sighed.

"Ask him to come here" Mark said. Jackson nodded and called Yugyeom. Soon Yugyeom walked inside.

"Hi hyungs " he greeted both of them.

"Yuggie, can I ask you something?" Mark asked and he nodded.

"Did you give my number to him?" Mark asked and Yugyeom eyes widened.

"What! Why? What happened hyung?" He asked.

"Just answer him Yuggie" Jackson said.

"No hyung, Why would I do that? I agree that now he lives with me, but I would never do that to you hyung" Yugyeom said and Mark nodded.

"Tell your brother to stay away from me and my family, because if anything happens to my family, I swear to God I won't spare him like I did last time" Mark said gritting his teeth.

"I understand hyung" Yugyeom replied.

"Good, now get back to work both of you" Mark said and they both nodded. Mark walked back to his cabin.
