by bringing this
memory up
so forgive me
if you ever get to
see this.
i remember
crying when they
performed this at
the mat.
the reasons why?
an on-going story
for another time
but more than that
i remember sean
patting your back
comforting you
too as the girls
did to me
and even though
i believed myself
to be in an
unrequited love at the time
and my motives for
looking were / are
highly questionable
i wanted to hold
your hand until
you were okay
but friends don't do that.
okay. male and female
friends with history
don't do that.
plus i probably couldn't
see that far down the seats
but sean probably
held your hand too.
seeing you cry
reminded me of
how you were
still human
still a boy
cracks and all
beyond the jokes
the dabs and sikes
i spent a long time
watching your
seat after that
( why did my
concern comes off as
being rude + gossipy ¿ )
