It took as much effort to get off the gondola as it did to get on. Dr jones decided to cling to the boat and wouldn't let go. Boats and water do that to dr jones.

"Come on dr jones! let go of the boat and we will be safe on land. Please?" Maddy asked her. Maddy held one ankle and I held the other. We pulled and pulled but dr jones had latched on to the boat. I wink at Jaz.

"Fine. We will let go and leave you on the boat and in the water. Alone." I say to her. She immediately let's go and let's us pull her on to land.

"Sorry. She has a slight phobia." I say to the gondola driver. he laughs and rides off.

We quickly run to the nearest scuba shop and burst through the door. The guy behind the counter stares at us like we have a second head.

"Scuba gear please." I say with a fake smile on my face. He reluctantly hands me the scuba gear.

We are out the door as quick as we had entered. Once outside we slip into the flippers and get our tanks sorted. Dr jones checks everything so we don't drown.

"Good luck guys. I'll see you when you get back." She says.

We give her a thumbs up and sit on the edge of the street. We give dr jones a wave before diving down.
The water is pretty murky and filled with bits of dirt and dust. We dive down until we are swimming along the bottom.

I hand signal Maddy to say 'see it'. She she shakes her head. We keep swimming and swimming until we see something shiny. I look at Maddy. She nods. I swim ahead to it and grab it to examine it properly. It looks like a small gold box, we can't tell because of the murky water. We swim up and sit on the edge. We get up and run, stumble, walk in flippers to dr jones.

"It has a key hole." Dr jones mumbles as she examines it. It's quite pretty, it's a little gold chest style box.

"Great so now we need the bloo-" I begin. I hear a click as the box opens. Inside is an envelope that looks oldish.

"You do the honours." Dr jones mumbles and hands me the envelope. I open it and take out the piece of paper.

"The roos hop on the open field, bounding through the bush. But in the city be careful because there you must shush." I read.

"What?" Maddy asked.

"Australia. But I don't get the clue. Usually they make sense. This one doesn't." I say.

"Hmm. You are correct there." Dr jones says. She takes the clue and stuffs it into the envelope again. She then puts it into her pocket and opens her laptop.

"What are you doing?" Maddy asks her. She looks up from her laptop.

"In googling the nearest airport. I'M CHECKING FACEBOOK WHAT DO YOU THINK IM DOING?" dr jones yells at us. We hold our hands up in surrender unable to help the smiles that spread across our faces.

Sorry guys, I am writing the book just not as much. It's not my main focus, but I haven't forgotten about it.
