I watched Amy put her phone away. She had been texting Vira the details about the whole exchange.

"You're in. I'm in. Win win. I'll help you and Maddy escape and it's all good." She said smiling. She gestured to me to wait a moment when she heard her phone beep.

"Back in a minute. Gotta make a call." She mumbled an walked off to make the call. I watched her suspiciously as she left. I didn't entirely trust her yet. It's hard to trust a girl like Amy. She lied and switched her side all the time. No one could. I was amazed that Gary did. "Family is family though." I thought to myself remembering that fateful day.

FLASHBACK

I was about ten years old and at school. We were on a school camp when my teacher asked for a private talk. I followed him wondering what on earth he wanted.

"Look, jazmine. Your parents died. There was an accident and-" I blocked out the rest of the conversation. I couldn't believe what he'd said. "Your parents died." It rang in my head. Teasing and mocking me.

"Thank you for telling me." I muttered and walked off not caring if he was done speaking or not. I walked around emotionless. My friends asked what was wrong, but I did not have strength to tell them. I didn't end up telling them until a few days after camp.

END OF FLASHBACK

I smiled and cried as a I remembered that day. I felt tired and decided to call it early and sleep.

Maddy's POV

I squirmed around trying to free myself of the rope that bound me to the chair. I heard vira's cruel laughter behind me.

"It's no use. You'll never get out." She exaggerated the never.

"What do you want?" I asked curiously.

"I came to tell you that Jazmine is coming to join you soon. Amy has her trusting her. Amy's bringing her here and pretending she's going to help you get out. You never will though." She was smiling at me as my eyes widened in horror.

"No. Jaz can't come here. She just can't." I said avoiding her amused gaze.

"Well I'm sorry, but she is." Vira said sarcastically. I glared at her bit she just waved and walked out of the the tiny room laughing as she did.

(Back to Jaz POV)

Through the night I dreamed I heard whispers and strange noises. I thought it had been a dream until I woke up and saw people standing in my room. I glanced at Amy's bed which was empty. I swore quietly before trying to scream. Before I could I felt a harsh jab in the neck. The darkness began to swirl and I fainted out cold.

When I woke up I found myself bound by rope to a chair. I struggled a bit to see if I could get out of the chair. I couldn't even budge.

"No use trying." Maddy muttered impatiently tied to a chair beside me. "Amy's going to get us out of here." I said realising the doubt on my face. Maddy shook her head.

"How can you trust her? it's amy." I nodded realising what is done.

"It's a good thing you trust her. Otherwise they were going to kidnap you and-"

"They did." I cut her off. "I couldn't even fight because of some needle they jabbed me in the neck with." Maddy stared at me tiredly.

"We need to get out of here. No offence but dr jones can't do much." Maddy said sheepishly.

"She's in a coma." I mumbled. "What?" Maddy didn't hear. "SHES IN A FRICKEN COMA! Dr jones didn't Jump out of the helicopter in time and crashed. I jumped out to avoid the crash hoping she would follow. He didn't realise what I'd done until it was too late. I had to run into the burning helicopter and pull her out! The police were trying to hold me back! by the time the ambulance and fire trucks arrived, it had exploded! If I hadn't rescued her she'd be dead!" I screamed at her. Maddy went pale and looked as if she was going to faint.

"Look I'm sorry." I mumbled gently. "I'm just tired and stressed out." Maddy nodded and smiled.
