Epilogue

Maddy's POV

World war three. It's starting to seem like we will actually lose against Gary as we sit in this factory.

Amy fills us in with details when Gary isn't hovering over her. She's running out of ideas and so are we.
We have no idea if we will escape or not. Amy's got a few plans but they are extremely risky and we don't know if it's worth it or not.

Jaz seems to have given up on everything. She just stares at the wall blankly and when we ask her if she has a plan she asks us, "what's the point? We've lost. We've literally lost. We can't win this war."

Amy, dr jones and I refuse to give up yet. We won't give up easily.

I sit here right now chained to the wall by my waist. We haven't eaten in days and get a glass of water per day.

"I have news." Amy mouthes to me. "Brazil is rebelling against Gary. They refuse to be apart of Gary's, "colony", but it's not going well." I look at Jaz. She still remains expressionless and dr jones just looks at me sadly.

"See? It's over. We've lost. It's over." Jaz says.

"No." I say.

"Maddy, she's right. It's over." Dr Jones says. Amy shakes her head.

"It's not over. It's not over until Gary is at my feet either dead or in chains." I say.

"Now your just scaring me." Dr jones says. Amy nods.

"I have an idea." I say.

"What?" Amy mouthes. Jaz looks at me. Dr jones looks at me.

"Rebel." Vira says walking in. Even Jaz doesn't glare at her.

"Exactly." I say. "We start our own small alliance of rebels. We can take Gary down." Something lights up in Amy's eyes.

"I'll help you escape if you take me with you and let me help you." Vira announces. I nod. "Deal."

"You know, it's not over. It's not over until either we're all dead or Gary is." Jaz says her eyes sparkling.
"Let's start an uprising."

I didn't know when I was able to publish it, turns out tonight. The third won't be out for a while and I mentioned a book called the pretty birdy in another series I wrote, I will write that, I just think I should finish this series first before starting any other books. Though I will post a short story soon. Details later on.
