NEW CHAPTER! :D
Thanks for all the comments and guys! It's thanks to all the votes and comments that I continue to write! I had to do a bit of re-touch on the end of chapter 12 when I was re-reading the story. Sorry about that blunder!

The warm water of the shower felt soothing as it relaxed all the muscles in my body. I had re-touched the roots of my hair so the black dye ran down into the drain. After I finished my shower routine, I stepped out and wrapped my towel around me and went to my room. I went into my walk-in closet and looked in the mirror. I no longer had any signs of bruising or cuts. I blow dried my hair and I decided to wear my lime green tank with white shorts. The green in my eyes seemed to be fading back to my aqua eye color, however, my green tank still brought out the green in my eyes. I put on some primer and eyeliner. I checked my phone.
Sharon: Hey Girl! Let’s get together for lunch at the new place around central corner!
I replied: Heyyy. Yea, that sounds good.
I headed downstairs to the kitchen. There my parents, Jean, and Jake were.
"Good morning" I said.
"Good morning" Mom said having a morning cup of tea.
"Good morning" Dad said reading the newspaper.
"Hey" said Jake eating his cereal.
Jean got up from the table.
"How fare you this morning, Princess?" asked Jean bowing his head slightly with this arm across his chest holding on to his shoulder.
“Good morning, Jean.” I replied not really wanting to speak with the man who would come to ruin the only part of my life that was mine. Where was Jean even from with all these different customs? It’s almost mid-evil the way he acts sometimes.
“I am going out for lunch with Sharen to the new place around the corner.” I said to my parents.
“Don’t forget to bring Jean with you.” said mom like it was obvious.
“What? I’m not doing that. No way! It’s just around central corner with Sharen. Why do I need to be guarded!? I’ve been there before this summer by myself and I was perfectly fine.” I can’t believe they are still insisting on this.
“Caramell Rose Eupe.” Mom began.
