So last time Xander, Yori, the Twins, and the Williams received the invitation to the parade in the Yokai world! After a long day of traveling they met up with the rest of Emiko and Yori's siblings. Although Xander is still having issues with his daughters, what does he plan to do about it?

Xander woke up with a yawn as he looked around his girlfriend's room in her family's large house. "I forgot just how strange the Yokai world was." Xander thought to himself as he got up as he turned towards Yori and gently shook her awake. "What do you want?" Yori whined without opening her eyes as she tried to lazily slap Xander's hand away. "It's morning sweetheart, you don't plan on sleeping all day do you?" Xander said in a teasing tone as Yori sat up and playfully glared at him. "Fine we'll do things your way, let me just get ready." Yori grumbled as Xander made his way to the door.
"Where do you think your going Xander Arons? If you tell me it's to give me privacy, well you've already seen everything!" Yori said in a teasing voice as Xander lightly blushed at her words. "True, but I don't think those two want me in here while they change." Xander said as he pointed to Mitsu and Momo sleeping in their bed that was next to they're own. Yori was not happy about what Mitsu and Momo tried to pull on Erma yesterday when Xander swiped their toys. As punishment she forced them to sleep in the same room as them. "I really hope those two give you chance soon." Yori states sadly as she looks down in sadness at the current relationship between her daughters and their father.
"Don't worry Babe, I think I have an idea to at least get a start towards that chance." Xander said with a knowing smile before he exited the bed room where he was surprised to find Fumiko standing there. "Trouble in paradise?" Fumiko asked in her normal stern voice, but Xander could tell she was concerned. "I guess that's one way of looking at it, I would blame your father, but I shouldn't have just runaway like that." Xander said in annoyance as he dug his nails into the palms of his hands. "You did the right thing, Yori would be worse off if Father had killed you." Fumiko said as she beaconed for Xander to follow her.
"So I heard you and daddy dearest had a fight because he threatened my life. I knew we got along pretty well Fumiko, but I didn't think you cared that much." Xander said as he gave the eldest Yureimoto sibling a curious glance. "I don't express that I care as well as Ena, but you and Sam make my sisters happy. That's why I'm also okay with this." Fumiko said as on of her needle hairs entered Xander's pocket and pulled out a ring box. "Cats outta the bag I guess? Leaving Yori was the biggest mistake of my life, I don't plan on letting it happen again." Xander said in a determined tone as smiled at Fumiko.
Fumiko once again allowed a small smile to spread across her face. "It's good to know your not going to back down even under the threat of death. My sister was smart to choose you." Fumiko said before entering the kitchen to join Haru. Xander sat down on the couch as Mayumi exited her room and sat down on the other couch and began to fold origami. "I still don't know how you're so good at that Mayumi." Xander said as Mayumi finished folding an origami frog that began to hop around the room. "Still can't believe you bring those things to life." Xander said as the origami frog hopped onto his shoulder.
Xander saw Erma enter the living room in her pajamas as she watched in awe at Mayumi bring and origami crane to life. Although when Mayumi noticed Erma watching her, she quickly gathered her supplies before heading back to her room. Erma looked down sadly at the fact her Aunt retreated like that. "Don't worry Erma your Aunt Mayumi is just shy, it took her awhile to warmup to me." Xander said as he patted the ghost girl on her head before bringing her into the dinning room where everybody was sitting down to eat. Of course the twins came down and sat across from Erma, this could only end poorly.
Xander tried his best to focus on the conversation that Yori and Emiko were having, but it was hard given that Mitsu and Momo had started a good fight with Erma. Unfortunately a stray piece of food hit Yori on her cheek, which caused her to finally lose her cool. "Yori let me handle this one." Xander whispered as he patted her on the back before standing up and walking behind the Twin's chairs. "Alright you knuckleheads your coming with me!" Xander said as he picked his daughters up by the backs of their shirts. "Hey let us go failure! Didn't we tell you not to touch us?!" Mitsu shrieked as she tried to break free from her father's grip.
Xander eventually made it to their bedroom before setting the girls down on their bed. "What do you want you good for nothing failure?!" Mitsu said in an angered tone as she glared at her father. "Alright you two, I'm all ears." Xander said calmly as the Twins gave him a surprised look. "W-What are you talking about?" Momo asked cautiously as she gave Xander a questioning look. "All your pain, all of your anger, please let it all out right now." Xander said calmly as he smiled at his little girls. Xander noticed the Twins started to shake in what was most likely anger.
"So that's all you have to say?! You think just because your willing to listen to us means we'll forgive you?!" Mitsu shouted as she glared at Xander. "I don't expect you to forgive me, I just want to know how hard it's been for you two." Xander said calmly as he gave his daughters a downcast look. "Shut up you sorry excuse for a father! If you actually cared then you wouldn't have abandoned us! I don't want anything to do with you!" Mitsu once again shouted in anger as she glared at Xander. "Don't just act like you didn't do anything wrong! We've spent years thinking that our father wanted nothing to do with us!" Momo shouted as tears started to form in the corners of her eyes.
Xander could feel his heart start to ache as he was finally starting to understand just how badly he has hurt his daughters. "W-Why d-didn't you stand up to grandpa? Why'd you just give up without a fight?" Mitsu whimpered out as she started to cry as well, looks like her tough girl act has finally broken. "W-Were w-we n-not worth coming back for?" Momo whimpered as she looked down at her feet with tears free falling. "D-Do y-you k-know how many kids made fun of us for not having a Dad?" Mitsu said before she and Momo finally collapsed to their knees and began to ball their eyes out.
Xander gently crouched down in front of his daughters before slowly pushing the hair away from their eyes. "There's my beautiful little girls! Don't worry I promise to be here for you from now on." Xander said as he pulled his daughters into a loving hug as they buried their faces into his shoulders. "P-Please d-don't leave us again Daddy." Mitsu whimpered out between her hiccups as she continued to cry into his shoulder. "D-Daddy s-stay w-with us!" Momo whimpered as she also buried her face in his shoulder as she continued to cry.
Yori made her way back to her and Xander's bedroom as it had been awhile since Xander brought the girls here to talk. Yori slowly opened the door as she expected a trashed room from the girls trying to injure their father. "Xander are you okay in here?" Yori asked before she froze at the sight of her boyfriend cradling their daughters in his arms as they cried into his shoulders. "Hey Sweetheart, as you can see we've worked things out." Xander said happily as he continued to hug Mitsu and Momo. Yori sat down on the bed next to Xander as she joined in on the hug. Finally the bridge between father and daughters been repaired and will only get stronger from here.
