Chapter 8:The Search for the Lost Sibling Begins!

So now it's time for the family to set out and look for Rin around town! Will they be able to find her? What kinda people will they encounter? Also I've recently started a Digimon x Loud House story, just thought I'd let you know!

Mitsu and Momo were not happy right now, Yori could tell that much from the nasty glares they were giving her. "Mom does Dad really have to go and help search for Aunt Rin?" Mitsu whined as she and Momo refused to just accept this. "Girls I know you wanna spend time with your father, but it's very important that we find Rin." Yori tried to reason with her daughters as they still seemed to refuse the situation. "It's not fair that Dad has to go out and search! Why can't he stay here with us?" Momo asked in an annoyed tone as she stomped foot on the ground in anger.
Yori couldn't help, but smile at her daughter's wanting to spend time with their father after patching things up with him. "Girls I promise once we find your Aunt, we'll all spend time as a family." Yori said as she patted both her daughters on the head. "You promise?" Momo asked in a voice that lacked trust in it. Yori smiled once again before pulling them into a hug. "Of course I promise! Do you know how long I've wanted you girls to spend time with your father?" Yori asked as Mitsu and Momo giggled happily as they returned they're mother's hug.
                       Xander was standing by the elevator as he watched Emiko talked to Erma, who was trying to go with them. Yori walked up to Xander before planting a kiss on his cheek. "We ready to go?" Xander asked as he smiled at Yori happily. "Not quite, those two have something to say to you." Yori said as she pointed towards Mitsu and Momo, who walked up to Xander slowly. Xander crouched down to his daughter's level and smiled at them. Before Xander could ask what they needed, Mitsu and Momo wrapped their arms around Xander's neck. "Please be careful dad!" Momo begged as she nuzzled into her dad's shoulder.
                       "You better come safely Dad! I don't want you all banged up when you get back!" Mitsu said as she also nuzzled into her Dad's shoulder. Xander smiled before picking both his daughters up as they giggled happily. "I promise to come home safe and sound girls." Xander said as he gave both of his daughters a kiss on the cheek before putting them back down. "Also could you girls do me a favor?" Xander whispered to his daughters as the nodded slowly. "Be nice to your cousin alright? She's really worried about Rin, so if you two could take care of her that would be great." Xander said as he waited for Mitsu and Momo to answer him.
                         Mitsu and Momo looked at each other before turning back towards they're Dad. "Alright Dad we'll look after Cus while your gone." Mitsu said as Xander patted them both on the head. "That's my girls. Be good for Kenji alright?" Xander said before he and the rest of the adults entered the elevator and started their decent to the bottom floor. Once they got outside the girls broke off into one group, while the guys broke off into the shadier part of town. After an hour or two of search and a few close calls where Xander and Sam nearly got killed. Kentaro finally decided to take them to a local bar that was apparently his favorite.
                       Xander, Sam, and Haru took a seat at the bar while Kentaro talked to the owner before heading off into one of the back rooms. "So what do you guys want?" Daiki, the three headed and six armed owner asked the trio as they looked at the menu. Haru asked if anything had cucumbers in it, while Xander looked through the menu. "You got any whiskey?" Xander asked Daiki who gave him a slightly surprised look. "You don't look like the type of guy that drinks the hard stuff." Daiki commented as he studied Xander as if he were an alien.
"I like the burn and taste, so you got any?" Xander asked again as he smiled at three-headed bartender. "Here's the Whiskey menu." Daiki said as he handed Xander the menu before going back to work. Xander looked over the different brands of Whiskey that Daiki offered and wasn't really surprised that he didn't recognize any of the names. "I'll take some Hellfire Whiskey." Xander said as he handed the menu back to Daiki. "You got any normal Saki?" Sam asked as Daiki gave him a weird look. "What are you human?" Daiki asked Sam with a confused look on his face.
"Well, yeah I am." Sam said as the entire bar went silent at his words. "Well so much for keeping my promise to Mitsu and Momo." Xander thought to himself as everyone in the bar knocked Haru out of the way before surrounding Xander and Sam. "Who let this human punk in here?" One of the patrons asked as he glared at Sam. "What, never seen a human before?" Xander asked as he looked at angry mob over his shoulder. "What's your problem? Why stand up for this human?" Another patron asked Xander as all eyes were on him.
"Sorry girls, Daddy has to save your Uncle Sam's rear end." Xander thought to himself as he turned around to face the angry mob. "Well Humans gotta stick together right?" Xander asked as the mob's eyes seemed to ignite with fire at his words. "Two humans? Do you guys have any idea what kinda danger you put yourself in?" Daiki asked Xander as he looked both impressed and dumbfounded at Xander's bravery. "Yeah? So what's the big deal? I get that Yokai and Humans have a ruff past, but is that really a good reason to keep hating each other?" Xander asked in a calm voice as he waited for someone to respond.
                              "Who cares why they're here? I Love Human Mea" a particularly ugly Yokai started towards Sam as he tried to wrap his tongue around the author's neck. Before the Yokai could get what he wants however, three large spider legs jabbed into his face gently. "I wouldn't do that if I were you, after all Xander here is Yori Yuriemoto's lover and father of her children. While our other guest is the husband of Emiko Yuriemoto." The female voice said as all the patrons went dead silent before retreating back to their seats. Xander turned and smiled at the familiar girl with spider legs coming out of her back. "Well Legs, like always you show up at the perfect time." Xander said with a chuckle as spider girl did the same.
                    "Xander you really do have a knack for getting yourself into trouble." The girl said before turning and heading out the door. "Make sure you bring Rin back safely alright?" The spider girls said before taking her leave. "So your the legendary father of York's kids huh?" Daiki said as he placed Xander's Hellfire Whiskey down in front of him along with Sam's Saki. "What do you mean "legendary"?" Xander asked Daiki who continued to cook and serve drinks. "Ever since Yori fell pregnant, everyone's wondered who the father was, never thought it'd be a human." Daiki said as he continued to work.
                                   After awhile Kentaro and Haru reentered the bar and joined up with them. Sam tried to converse with a few of the Yokai that made fun of Daiki's take from his youth. "Hey Kentaro, what's this human's deal anyway?" On crab claw handed Yokai asked as he glared at Sam and Xander. While Kentaro tried to smooth things over, Xander took a sip of his whiskey. "Man this stuff has some kick to it!" Xander thought to himself as he took another sip. "There is one way to prove that these men are as trustworthy as they seem Kentaro." A short man with feathers said as he handed Sam a flask held an ignited lighter out towards Xander.
                               Despite being told the Wine in the gourd could turn to poison, Sam took a drink without hesitation. Sam of course just smiled an complimented the Wine on it's flavor before giving it back to the short Yokai. "Now Xander, can you put this lighter out? If you do it incorrectly, the flame with devour your soul." The Yokai warned as Xander looked at the purple flame coming from the lighter. Without a second thought used his thumb and finger to suffocate the flame. "Impressive Xander! How did you know to risk your own safety to put the flame out?" The short Yokai asked him with a curious look in his eyes.
"I fight fires for a living, a little blaze like that doesn't need water to be put out." Xander states simply as he tried to hand the lighter back to the short Yokai. "Keep it Xander, I think it may just come in handy later." The short Yokai said before walking back to his table. Xander shrugged before pocketing the lighter and taking another sip of his drink. "Who are you humans anyway?" One of the Yokai bar asked them with a curious look in his eye. "Xander Arons, Fire Fighter." Xander stated calmly as he continued to sip his drink. "Sam Williams, but enough about me, let's talk about you." Sam said as everyone broke out into conversation in the bar.

So there we go! Now as to where I've been, well if you didn't read my conversation board post, Fire Emblem Three Houses came out and I've been absolutely engrossed in the game. I'd like to also thank bestpony666 for mentioning me in his own Erma Story! Anyway what could the Twins be up to back at the Yuriemoto house without their parents home?
