Chapter 41

[(Y/N)'s POV]

"And just like that? You and Tim got together, just like that?" I asked in disbelief.

Stephanie only nodded. I noticed that she becomes a bit shy when it comes to her relationship with Tim.

That told me, that they just started dating.

We have been speaking for about a few minutes. Not a few, but for a while, you could say.

We were sitting on chairs. Well, Steph and Cass were. Barbara decided to sit with me on the bed.

There was a moment of silence before Cassandra spoke up,

"You know, I'm still a bit shocked that you're Riddler's daughter"

Stephanie and Barbara both slowly shook their heads in agreement.

"I'll take that as a compliment" I reply, not really knowing what else to say.

I sigh. Speaking of my father. He got caught. Mighty Riddler never gets caught, he said.

"It's your father right?" Barbara asked, breaking my trance.

"What?" I questioned.

"Your sigh"

"Oh. Yea, I guess"

My response was slowly becoming dry the more I thought of my father behind bars.

I don't want him being taken from me again.

"To stop upsetting (Y/N), I've been meaning to ask, how do you and Cassandra only recognize each other by looks, and not by names?" Stephanie asked.

"You want to tell them or do I?" Cass looked over to me.

I shake my head, motioning for her to talk.

She nodded and faintly cleared her throat,

"When I sneaked back on the island. I was trying to find Lady Shiva, my mother. I wanted to see what she was planning"

I glanced over to her, letting her know that I wanted to continue. She nodded in response.

"Eventually, she needed to know her location. That is where she found me at the training camp. At the time, she couldn't really speak. So that confused me a bit. She came up to me tolf me her name. But, knowing me, I forgot. Anyways, she then asked "Lady Shiva, where?" She motioned her hands as she tried to communicate. Luckily for her, I understood. So, I helped her"

"I didn't who she was. I just felt like helping her" I added.

"I didn't bother investigating her. I thought I wasn't going to see her again, and yet, here we are" Cassandra said with a smile.

"Wow" both Stephanie and Barbara said in unison.

"Yep" I answered.

"So, should I feel honored to be in the same room with 3 Batgirls?" I smirked while questioning.

"Actually, Cass changed her vigilante name to Orphan" Stephanie said.

Orphan? That's... an odd name.

It's unique though, so I like it.

"So, Cassandra was Batgirl, but now she's Orphan. Stephanie, you're a Batgirl and so are you?" I turned my head to Barbara.

She chuckled,

"Nah, I passed my mantle to her long ago. I'm known as Oracle"

Oracle. Sounds... cool.
