So I could grow through all the dirt
that you throw at me.
I would shine through
The darkest time,
Even when people turn their back on me,
I would stand tall and proud.
I would turn my face to the sun,
Even when you spit at my feet,
And pull everyone away from my side,
I would still bring happiness to the people that see me bloom.
