"Alex?..." Maggie groans her voice is raspy and mouth is dry, she slowly opens her eyes.

Startled , Alex looks up with her eyes wide. "Mag-Maggie!" They look each other in the eyes , before Alex looks away and clears her throat.

"How are you feeling ?" Alex asks looking down.
"Well My heart is racing for starters" Alex looks at the heart monitor, and it's true her bpm has increased .

"Well you had intense surgery so it's normal for-" Alex is cut off. "No it's not racing because of anything medical, it's because your here" Alex looks up at Maggie.

"You don't hate me?" Maggie's eyebrows furrow "why would I hate you Alex, it wasn't your fault, unless your not telling me something danvers" she coughs.

Alex chuckles "I'm not talking about shooting you sawyer , I'm talking about the way we ended thi-"

"I don't really wanna talk about it , I just want to leave it in the past for now" Maggie says. "Is this a dream?....are you really here? ...I fucking missed you so much Alex"

Alex starts to tear up "m-me t-too mags ...me too" She allows the tears to fall. Maggie's cries too "I...I hate to ruin the moment but *cough* my mouth is really dry I could use some water" Maggie says wiping her tears.

Alex does so as well and sniffs "I'll be right back with some water" she gets up and is stopped by Maggie's hand grabbing hers.

The red heads heart races as she turns around "thank you for being here , I didn't think you'd want to see me I didn't even think you would show ,I-i never thought I'd see you again" the brunette says.

Alex smiles " I didn't think you'd want to see me either, and I wouldn't miss coming here for the world, and that means a lot coming from me because I work to save it" they both laugh .

They gaze into each other's eyes "I'll be right back in a few to get your water" Alex says leaving the room , her hand missing the warmth of Maggie's.

"your falling again Alex " the red head says to herself.

Meanwhile at the DEO brainy claims they were tracing AOL based on the bullet that hit Maggie.

Kara is listening to Brainy when her phone goes off.

Kara smiles at her phone and looks at the time. 6:22pm. Holy crap she has to start getting ready, she needs advice , she has to see Alex!

"Sorry brainy I have to go, call me if anything but you got it just keep on the lead " Kara uses her super speed to go to the hospital. She quickly changes into her Kara Danvers look and heads to Maggie's room.

She bursts in "Alex, Lena asked me to dinner I need advi- Maggie your awake!" She spots Maggie looking at Kara with an eyebrow raised.
