The receptionist gives Alex a skeptical look , but waves it off. "She's going into surgery at the moment but, I'll call you when she's headed into the recovery room, may I have your name ma'am ?"

"Yea sure, Alex Danvers" the redhead responds, "thank you we'll let you know when she's in recovery please have a seat" Alex nods and sits down next to her sister.

"I hope she's ok" Alex let's out a shaky breath. " of course she'll be ok , but ...." Kara hesitates.

"But what Kara?" Alex let's out firmly. "Calm down, I know your frustrated but, look do you think she'd want to see you?" Kara asks.

"Excuse me?" Alex sits up straight. "Look through the trauma and recovering from surgery I don't think being reminded of her past love and bad breakup between her and her ex fiancé will make her feel any better" Kara suggests.

Alex sighs "I don't care if she doesn't want to see me , I want to see her and make sure she's ok because-"

"Because you still care about her, don't you" Kara finishes her sisters explanation. Alex looks at her sister with tears threatening to escape from her eyes.

She's about to admit that , yes she still cares and still is so in love with the Latina , she begins to wonder if her ex has changed physically or emotionally but gets her thoughts cut off when Lena walks into the hospital, of course catching her love sick sisters attention.

"Ms. Luthor , the lab is almost ready for you , take a seat and allow us to prepare it" a nurse that comes up to Lena says.

"Appreciate it Nurse Cabello and please, call me Lena" the nurse laughs "course and if I'm calling you Lena then I prefer to be called camila"

"Sure, Thank you Nurse Cabello ...camila, hows your fiancé , by the way?" Lena asks her employee. "She's great she's working again ,actually as we speak she's operating on a patient!" Lena nods and raises her eyebrow "who might this patient be?" Kara cuts in and stands in front of Lena.

"It's Maggie" the nurse smiles at Lena and begins to walk away. Lena smiles at Kara "hey, and oh my gosh I'm sorry I didn't know how's Alex holding up, must be tough especially after things ended pretty badly".

They both look over to Alex who has her face held in her hands, covering her puffy eyes that Kara can notice, even without her x ray vision.

"She's....hanging in there" Kara looks back at Lena. "Do you think it's a good idea for her to see Maggie, how long has it been?" Lena questions.

"That's what I've been thinking about too, it's been about five months since they...ya know " Kara responds "Anyways , what are you doing here?"

Lena smirks "well, Kara Danvers I shall have you know that this is my Hospital" Kara rubs her neck awkwardly "rightttt, sorry"

Lena chuckles "I'm just messing with you , Kara I'm here to test out one of my new inventions, it'll help with heart complications I'll show you how it works later when it's not just a prototype"

Kara can't help but fall more in love with this girl , she was her kryptonite, has her weak on her knees. "Of course , I shall be awaiting your call" Lena laughs at her.

"Ms.Luthor the lab is ready" nurse cabello says . " I have to go, see you for lunch tomorrow?" Lena says. "Yep" Kara winks leaving Lena blushing and walking away.

An hour and half soon passes by ."Alex Danvers to see Maggie sawyer?" The receptionist calls. Alex looks up and rushes over , Kara uses her superhearing and sits down, listening to the conversation.
