It's finally the weekend and as much as Alex is happy about it , there's no reason to be as everyday since Maggie's accident has been a day off for her. Although, she only truly did get two good nights of sleep and this morning she wakes up with a smile on her face as she feels Maggie's weight cuddled up next to her.

Alex is content but also very scared and worried about her job. Has she been spending too much time with Maggie and ignoring her position as the director of the DEO?

'No. There's a lot of things going on and you wouldn't be able to do anything anyway because their still looking into leads'. Alex thinks to herself.

The redhead is deep in thought about AOL. The bastard got away and now they might not be able to find him again.

If anymore aliens are hurt , Alex has failed at her job and she's too passionate about it to let that happen.

"What's on your mind danvers?" Maggie asks suddenly , causing Alex to jump a little. "I didn't know you were up" Alex says.

Maggie pulls away from their cuddling and sits up, rubbing her eyes and stretching. Alex immediately misses the warmth of Maggie's body next to hers.

"Yea, only for a few minutes, I was looking at you though and you always have that crinkle in between your eyebrows when your thinking hard about something like Kara, she does that too , so what's on your mind?" Maggie asks.

Alex smiles, she knows her too well. "Well first off, your a creep, why were you looking at me?"

Maggie's cheeks tint red as the Latina grabs a pillow from underneath her and throws it at Alex.

"Jeez I was joking!" Alex chuckles. Maggie rolls her eyes with a smile "ok then joker, seriously what's wrong?" The Latina asks sincerely.

Alex sits up as well and sighs "I don't know I'm just worried about work and AOL, what if im not being a good director and leader so that's why everyone is becoming a child of liberty?"

Maggie nods "well number one, your a badass danvers , your an amazing director I saw you in action yesterday and it's incredible"

Alex blushes and bites her lip.

"Number two, there's nothing you can really do about it right now, even if you were there you would just be sitting back and waiting for something to pop up, brainy is looking into it and will give you a call if anything, so don't worry danvers it's all going to work itself out" the Latina continues, placing her warm, soft hand over alexs' in comfort.

"Thanks mags, your right" Alex grins. Maggie nods "of course , and hey"

Alex looks up with a raised eyebrow.

"Did you forget what you promised on Thursday?" The brunette smirks. Alexs' confusion can't help but shine through.

"You said you would live a little and showing me that you can by taking me out to the bar for a karaoke night!" She exclaims.

"Ohhh yeahhh" Alex beams. "I do recall promising you that"

Maggie grins "yep and it's a perfect distraction for you too! You should invite Kara and Lena and James , oh and that friend of yours"

Alex nods "sounds like a plan, now come on let's make breakfast I'm starving"

After a delicious breakfast, Maggie decides to head home for a little bit to get some work done. Although Alex insists in dropping the brunette off, Maggie refuses using the excuse 'Alex you have done so much for me already' and ends up taking an Uber.
