As we stopped beneath the small horribly-made wooden archway, we took another a sniff of the delightful food that was just begging for us to digest before setting foot into their territory.
As we looked around we notice that the Tents that the campers reside in seem to have strange but beautiful hand drawn markings written neatly around the base and the tip of the tents.
It's a language that i personally had not seen before but Trixie's face seemed to pale as though she did.
"Trix?" I say in concern, placing my small hand onto her clothed shoulder "are you okay?"
Startled, she instantly replied to me "yes! I am super fine! Lets go eat food!" She nervously giggled and i nod in response, although my concern for her had secretly ridden into suspicion.

"Ada.. i think something's wrong." I say to the man next to me. His deep voice replied to me after a short pause and gulped nervously.
"I think she's know's this isn't safe for us.. play along, yeah?"
Confidently, he stuck my hand in his and puffed out his chest protectively before he advanced into the circular clearing in front of the tents. Strange looks are cast upon us as we travel towards the middle some of which looked like angry glares or perhaps it was that of protection, but over who?
"Hello.. um, we come in peace!" I say to the surrounding people "we've been walking for over a day now and would like to maybe have some of your food and water?" The more i go on, the less my sentence sounds like a statement but more like a question.
The residents of the tents seem to be approaching us both cautiously and what looks to be angrily until a wooden thud is heard from behind the small group. From behind them, a strong and wise women that looked to be in her mid twenties was revealed from the parting of the crowd.
Her garments consisted of a wolfskin tied around her neck, no clothing except for a narrow piece of thin white fabric covering her chest and more wolfskin covering her lower region. She looked like the mightiest warrior of an ancient tribe.
"You wish to dine at my campsite?" She snarled before turning her angry glare into  a smirk and a daring face "then show your worth and we might just let you." She laughs and the crowd erupts into laughter with her.
Reluctant i look at Nuada "i think you were right, ada. We shouldn't have come here at all.."
He rolls eyes and huffs "you're telling me.. Trix-" he pivoted to check that she was still there only to find out that she wasn't "ie.." he finished and sighed.
"Well then" I say as confidently as possible "how do we prove our worth to you?"
The women smirked once more

"We fight."
