Surrendering
Mia's POV.
Everyone was headed to the meeting spot. Strange that they are surrending like that. You don't go down like that unless you have a plan in motion, and my gut never lies there's something not right about this. We came to the spot and waited. The Warriors surrounding us for any surprise attack. I couldn't stand still until I felt my mate body hovering next to me. I lean on him, feeling the calmness that his body was producing.
Beta and Ann on one side and Eric and Christy on the other. Right behind us stood Luke with a sad frown on his face. I felt bad for the guy but he was willing to fight with us. It's one thing when your family hates you but then it's another when that family member is the one that destroyed everything and then knowing that you have to kill them it what hurts the most.
Whistles were heard and we got ready. You could hear the paws of the wolves coming towards us. Which was only two. They didn't look like they wanted to fight, but stop a few yards away from us. I wonder if they are going to fight or surrender because I don't think that this could end well. Everybody was waiting for an attack or anything out of the ordinary.
But, what happen was the most strangest thing ever Joseph turned on Stacy and attack her. Everybody was ready to move. The Alpha growl to keep up from helping. I never seen a mate attack another and I'm assuming that's her mate by the way she's looking at him as she's on the floor. She begins to fight back attacking his face and he attack her neck. I couldn't look anymore so I hide my face towards Anthony's body.
Once, he was done with her he turned our way and began to charge at us. Alpha gave the warning growl, but he kept on going. He signal the Warriors to attack Matthew and Eric went behind them. One by one they fought him, some got hit and some hit back. Biting his legs and attacking his face. But, he was fast and swipe them like bugs.
Until, he was face to face with Matthew and Eric but he wasn't really paying attention to them. He was looking directly to me.
"You're the one that she's obsessed with." He snarl towards me. "And look what I just did to her, because right now it doesn't matter. Either way we're both dead." He began to laugh like a maniac and cried like a crazy person. "I'm going to die anyway, so why not make it quick?"
Did she made him this way? She probably did and he snap. Sometimes we think we are making a situation right but we don't notice that we're making it worse with every minute that passes. Our Warriors surrounded him and isolate him from attacking. "Alpha, what do we do now?" A Warrior asked.
Alpha Anthony looked at him, "Bring him back to the campbound and lock him in a cellar." Alpha ordered he looked over to Stacy. "And bring Stacy body also. The least we can do is bury her." He turned and walked away. Everybody did as they were told.
I was just glad it was over.
Eric's POV.
That was not the way I thought it was going to end. I was thinking down the line of there's going to be blood everywhere and then the fight begins. There was a cold shiver that went down my spine and I began to growl in the direction of Joseph to which the Alpha looked at me and that was he's biggest mistake. Joseph attack Anthony in the neck. His hand went stiff and I knew that he got a vain in the mix.
One move and our Alpha could die.
Everybody was on guard. Mia was crying, but her stance was strong, even though her body was shaking with fear.
