Payback

Storm's POV

I haven't came out of my room in a week. I can't stand it. Minho comes by everyday and apologizes, Newt comes by and tries to get me to talk to him. Alby brings food up. He is actually the only one I have let in my room, and he just brings the food in and walks out. I don't know when I'll every come out.

One day later.

I decided today is the day. I'm going to go for a run. I'm going to run as soon as the doors open and right before Minho goes in. If that shank follows me I'm going to try to lose him.

Newt came up and told me he was now a runner, but wasn't going to go into the maze without me. So I guess that will be tomorrow.

I quickly change and stretch right in time for the doors to open. I saw Minho and Newt standing by the door. Well Minho was standing.

"Alright lets do this." I whispered to myself.

I opened my door, walked back a few steps and ran. I jumped down the stairs, and ran outside.

I kept hearing everyone talking. Saying things like.

"She's out of her room!"

"She looks like she hasn't ate in forever."

"She still is as hot as ever."

I ignored all of them and ran to the doors.

Minho and Newt didn't even notice me until I had completely past them. I ran past and ran through the first part of the maze. I heard footsteps behind me and ran faster. I took a quick right turn and ran that way.

As I was on my way back to the Glade I decided to get back at Minho and Newt. I don't know why Newt, but it was mostly for Minho.

My plan was to wait until the doors were closing and then run. There was a turn in the maze about 10 feet away from the doors so I should have no trouble.

Minho's POV

"Where is she?" Newt asked me for the 10th time.

"I don't know, but the doors close soon." I said.

"Come on Storm." Newt whispered.

Newt's POV

We had one minute until the doors closed. Minho and I were sitting by the doors. Then they started to close.

"She's not going to make it." Minho said as he stood up.

I stood up to walk away too, but something caught my eye. Movement. I turned and saw Storm. She was running and was about five feet from the door.

"Minho!" I yelled.

He turned and saw her. He ran up to me and stood beside me.

She ran faster once her eyes meet mine. She made it through the doors and ran up to me. Instead of Minho.

She ran and engulfed me into a hug. I hugged back. And felt silent tears slide down my face.

"Your alright." I said and kissed her forehead.

"Yeah I am." is all she said. She let go and walked over to Minho hugged him. After that he left and Storm looked at me and hugged me again.

"Minho was right you know." she whispered.

"About what?" I asked.

"About me liking you."

I smiled to myself before saying, "I like you too."

Sorry if this was short. It just randomly popped into my head and I thought I would post it!

Also some of you/a lot of you are confused on why Storm is crying and over reacting. Well you slightly understand it in the chapters ahead but also Storm has had her memory wiped and doesn't particularly understand emotions. So that's why she cries and stuff like that. Sorry for the confusion....
