A few days went by and I still wasn't talking to Bash, he would call and if he says something not regarding Zoe I hang up. He knew this time what he did was ridiculous and what's worse is the body still isn't found when I asked him to at least let his wife bury him when he didn't, I really didn't talk to him.

I had to find a new employee and it was so hard these few days surviving without a manager or extra worker so I had to do Nate's job and mine at the same time and it was stressful. I couldn't handle the books in the office because I was helping the employees so I would look at them back at home at night. "mommy, this is from daddy." Zoe smiled.

I looked at the flowers with a note. I smiled and took the flowers, she gave me a cheek kiss when Zoe went to her room. I took the flowers and threw them in the bin. I looked at the note.

I tore it up and threw it in the bin. I only smiled because I don't want Zoe to know we're arguing but I was too pissed with him to even keep his flowers. I went back to my books and proceeded with work. He called me and I answered thinking he'll ask something about Zoe.

I kept quiet until he eventually talked first. "you got the flowers?" He asked. I dropped the call and turned it on silent. He'll know this time I'm dead serious this isn't cute nor okay.

It was the day of the party, and I was quite ready for all of this! I couldn't believe I actually pull this off while handling other clients as well. I'm more stressed about this because it was Dave's daughter and I didn't want to disappoint the cute little princess because we have bonded now. But she still knows me as Dave's friend to avoid her tantrums.

Well I was scared she'll hate me so I asked Dave we don't tell her yet, and he was okay with that. "the cake needs to be that way and the cupcakes that side." I told the caterer.

"hey girl" Naiya said. I smiled hugging het.. "Are you ready for today?"

"yeah. Do you think Dani and Mani will pitch?" I asked.

"yeah, and maybe the other girls too." She rolled her eyes.

"I need alcohol and sex right after this." I smiled thinking about what we did this morning.

"you and me both... You two are fucking like crazy! " she smirked at me.

"he has me hooked girl." I laughed. "you and Bash are good now?"

She rolled her eyes. "no, he keeps buying these gifts thinking I'm Riah whenever he buys something I'll forgive him straight away. I'm not weak minded."

"want me to talk to him?" I asked.

She smiled. "Oh no. He was never mine anyway. He just proved that when he did what he did."

I nodded and we both stopped the chitchat and I went straight to work. The party started and kids were everywhere. I didn't even think Kairi had these many friends. I saw Dani and her husband. I quickly turned so she wouldn't see me.

I knew she still didn't like me, well that's what I heard from Naiya because apparently she's team Kira. I saw her once at the mall and she glared at me like I did something to her so I never talked to her again. "there she is!" Her husband said at me.
