I stayed with Dave until he eventually fell asleep since he talked to the doctors to let me stay with him. I called Bash's father to check on Kairi. He answered luckily for me he wasn't sleeping. "everything's okay?"

"I'm actually calling to check up on Kairi." I replied

"we're bringing her along to the hospital. She's been crying her eyes out for her father." He chuckled. "You know how she is."

" figured." I smiled thinking about her. "she loves her dad a lot. Thank you so much for looking after her."

"no problem. I'll let you know when we have arrived." He said

"thank you." I said goodbye and hung up. I brushed my stomach thinking about this mess. I wonder what happened to Mariah but I decided I'll ask later on because we needed to focus on Dave's health and Naiya's having a safe labour.

After a while Kairi finally arrived with Bash's parents. I went to go fetch her in the car, and she was still crying. Lord the way she's such a cry baby you'd think she was my child.

I used to be exactly like this when I was younger. I picked her up and she managed to calm down a bit, she's going to be real tired when she's done crying. "aww don't cry princess, I'll get you some good chocolate."

"where's daddy?" She asked with a big frown.

"we're going to go to him now. Do you want some snacks?" I smiled.

"yes." She nodded. She held on to my neck with her head on my shoulder and just kept sniffing while I went to the vending machines. It was hard carrying her around and I am heavily pregnant.

"I see you're struggling." I heard someone say.  I looked back and it was this cute male nurse

"I'm okay. Thank you." I smiled at him and placed Kairi down to get the snacks for her. I don't want to entertain anyway because Dave won't hesitate to make this hospital a blood bath.

"I'm Matthew but everyone calls me Mat. You are?" He tried making conversation.

"Jordyn." I said.

"nice to meet you. You have a beautiful daughter." He complimented. "Takes after her mother."

I know this man can see I'm heavily pregnant with a kid. I just know he's not trying time flirt with me when he sees my situation.

I didn't know whether I should correct him or not about Kairi. But that's not his business. He was cute don't get me wrong but no one is cuter than my man to me. "I want daddy!" Kairi shouted making people stare at us.

She was annoyed we were talking and she wasn't seeing her father "don't shout. This is not your hospital." I scolded her. She looked down, I gave her the snack and picked her up again. "I just don't want you to be rude okay, sweetie?"

She nodded and I felt bad for being rude to her but she needs someone to be strict towards her she can't grown up thinking everyone owes her something so she'll act however she wants.

I will raise my child with manners and no matter how Dave spoils the kids I'll be there to pull them back to the ground. "I can help you with her." This dude was still trying. 

"trust me you don't want to do that." I chuckled already seeing the mean mug on Dave.

"why? Hectic baby daddy?" He chuckled.
