                                              I'm a bird trapped in your cage
My wings are broken 
But I'm numb to the pain 
                          Won't you let go of me? 
Please I'm not your pet 
My wings are dying to be outstretched 
                          I'm feel like nothing but crumpled feathers on the floor 
I can't find the soul to which I was once adorned 
                          Let me out! 
I'm dying just to breathe 
Take off these chains and please set me free
                          Flying won't be easy 
But I can learn to trust the wind 
I'm so done with feeling broken
No I'll never be owned again
