"Emma! It's time to wake up! You have school today!!" I heard Alex yell from the other side of the door. I sighed and rolled out of bed and stood there.
"Emma, get-..." Alex walked in and I looked at him.
"Oh, you're up. Good, now get dressed." I rolled my eyes and walked to my closet.
Pulling out a pair of skinny jeans and a plaid button down, I walked into my bathroom and took a quick shower.
"Emma, thirty minutes!!" Alex yelled from down stairs. I sighed. I'm not much of a morning person and I don't like being rushed.
I blow dried my hair and flat ironed it and applied some make up. I grabbed my bag and shoes and walked down stairs to the kitchen.
Alex stood at the bar and sipped his coffee. "Morning, Em." He smiled brightly.
"It's too early for this shit." I said, putting my head in my hands.
"You'll get the hang of it." He smiled and downed his coffee. "And while your at it, we're going out for breakfast." I grabbed my bag and walked out to the car, picking at my fingernails while I waited for Alex.
Alex walked out of the house and unlocked the car. I quickly got in and turned the heater on.
"So cold." I muttered.
We ate and then he drove me to school.
"I would walk you in but, I have to get to the studio." He gave me an apologetic smile. I sighed.
"It's okay. I'll see you when you get home, I guess." He nodded, kissed my forehead, and handed me some lunch money.
"Love you, Em. Have a good day." He called when I shut the door. I sighed and walked through the doors and went to the office.
"Uh hi, I'm new here and need to get my time tablet.." I trailed off, looking at the receptionist. She smiled and started typing.
"What's your name?" She asked.
"Emma Gaskarth." She nodded again and printed off my schedule and Hanes it to me.
"Have a nice day, Miss Gaskarth." I smiled half heartedly and walked out.
'Here goes nothing' I thought and went to find my first class.
