For the past year or so I've started writing poetry (mainly spoken word) for various assignments at school. But first, a few things about me:
-I'm 18 and will be starting university in the fall
-I live in the US
-I am an ABC (an American Born Chinese)
The first few poems are in response to the poem "Where I'm From" by George Ella Lyon. This was an assignment for school but I had too many ideas and wrote a bunch of different versions before choosing one for submission.
