Pierce stopped in his tracks as he heard that word.
"Stop." It echoed throughout the silent room. Everyone looked to the assassin as she hopped down from the bench to stand in front of all the HYDRA agents, scientists and doctors.
"You're a mad man. Killing millions isn't going to bring peace. It will breed chaos, a war you can't control and we'll be sent in to clean up the mess." The agents each put a hand on their guns, Pierce took a slow step towards her.
"It's not your place to question it Nazarov. So do your job and shut the fuck up." He sneered. Morana sniggered darkly.
"Like hell that's gonna happen. Do you really think you're agents are better than me? I'm a world renowned assassin. You can't kill me." As the words tumbled from her lips, an agent took it upon himself to attack her, firing four bullets at her head. In a split second, her hand was up and glowing and each bullet slowly came to a halt right in front of her face. Her green eyes flashed to the agent and she moved her fingers, the bullets following and turning back towards the gun who fired them. A bead of sweat rolled down the agent's forehead as Morana sadistically smiled and waved her hand, all four bullets meeting his flesh. A deafening moment of silence sat before the room erupted into chaos. An agent dove at her and she grabbed his arm, swinging underneath him and grabbing his gun from its holster, shooting him in the gut. She used him as a shield as other agents tried to take a shot at her. She walked to the closest agent throwing the very dead man in her arms at him. The agents fell and she moved to the next agent. She stepped onto the fallen man's back and jumped onto the next agent's shoulders, wrapping her legs around his neck and squeezing the life out of him. As he fell, she stepped off and shot two more agents when the excruciating pain shot through her body once again. She fell to her knees screaming. She tried to breath through the pain as she trembled on her hands and knees. Alexander Pierce sadistically smiled down at her broken form when she suddenly stopped screaming. He looked down at his phone and saw that the device was still sending electricity coursing through her bones. She rose from the floor as a bright green hue started to glow around her. The woman's head lifted up to reveal a face of malice and eye sockets that were replaced by glowing green orbs. Her body rose from the ground and her gaze turned to the remaining agents who had all swallowed heavily. She reached out with her fingers and an agent felt himself being torn apart from the inside, he let out a blood curdling scream as his chest ripped open, blood splattering everywhere and in a flash of green, a bloody thing landed in Morana's hand. Her head turned towards it as blood dripped onto the floor alongside the agent's lifeless corpse. The room seemed to stop and stare at the organ in her grasp.
"Did she just-" One agent started.
"She ripped out his heart." Pierce finished. Morana threw the heart to the side and grabbed the last agent by the neck, throwing him across the room, and hearing a deafening crack against the wall. She held a gun up to Pierce's head.
"Don't think that I won't shoot you, because I will. Repeatedly." He raised his hands in surrender. She looked over to see Sarge with his arms held down by metal cuffs, while he struggled to get to her. She ran to him, kneeling in front of him, and her glow diminishing until she was normal again.
"Hey, you need to listen to me. You need to remember. I need you to try and remember. You are James Buchanan Barnes. You fought in World War II. You're best friend was Steve Rogers. We're best friends, we trained together, you love me. Remember who you are Bucky, I need you to-" Bucky looked her up and down when she suddenly stopped talking. She coughed and blood trickled out of her mouth. Both the assassins turned their gazes down to Morana's stomach that had blood leaking through her suit. The sharp pain in her back got worse when she felt something exit her flesh. Her breath hitched and she saw Pierce walk into her line of vision with a knife covered in blood, her blood. She began coughing again, more blood staining her lips and falling from her mouth. Her vision began to start dotting black and she was helpless as Rumlow and Rollins grabbed each of her arms and yanked her up from the ground. Her head rolled on her shoulders and her feet dragged behind her as they took her out. The last thing she heard was Bucky screaming out her name before just screaming as they erased her from his mind, and welcomed the painless darkness.
