Juleka covered Marinette with a sheet and called one of the guards to carry her.

As the guard picked her up, Juleka kept panicking.

"Be careful!"

"Okay."

"You're going to hurt her!"

"Sorry."

Each time Juleka voiced her worry, the guard would reply with one word.

The guard brought Marinette to a bathroom and sat her on the toilet seat, before leaving her with Juleka.

The nursemaid grimaced at the sight of Marinette. Her lips were swollen and her face was bruised. The wounds on her side were still gushing out blood and they looked awfully painful.

She then slowly cleaned the wounds, stitched them up and dressed them, Marinette whimpered in pain during the whole process. Juleka's heart broke for the girl.

Juleka set the bath then helped the blunette undress and slip in.

Marinette hissed as the warm water came in contact with her bruised skin. She was in so much pain.

Through all this pain, there was only one thought that was crossing her mind,

'where are you, Adrien?'

"Alright, Father."

As Adrien hung up and tucked his phone into his back pocket, Nino stood beside him.

"Are you ready, your highness?"

Adrien rose a brow at him before nodding.

"Good, your highness."

"Your highness!" Someone called and Adrien turned only to see Conrad.

"Yes?"

"All the troops are armed and ready. We're waiting for your call to head out, your highness," Conrad said, his eyes looking straight ahead and his hands behind his back.

"Not yet."

"But your highness-"

"I said, not yet," Adrien repeated and the guard gulped.

"As you wish, your highness," Conrad bowed before walking away.

"How come you didn't shoot at him, your highness?" Nino smirked. "He said 'your highness' about four times and you didn't pull your gun not even once, your highness."

"Maybe because he wasn't doing it to be annoying," The blond said through gritted teeth as Nino continued to grin. Nino knew that what he was doing was riling up the Prince even more than he was already riled up and it would cost him.

"I'm not doing it to be annoying either, your highness."

"Nino?"

"Yes, your highness?"

"Do you want me to shoot you?"

"No, your highness."

"Then stop it."

"Yes...your highness."
