School has finished for the year and this summer I intended on starting a new TV series, more specifically the Vampire Diaries. I've heard everyone rave about it so I thought why not. But Logan, on the other hand, wanted to go camping, (like that worked out well with us before) and road trips and what not.
Somehow Logan had convinced me to go camping with him. Which is what I'm doing right now, setting up the tent myself since Logan was, and I quote 'going to get fire wood' I don't think so, a certain someone is just avoiding putting up the tent.
I gave an aggravated huff and put my hands on my hips. I watched the tent collapse to the floor with confusion. I swear I did everything the instructions told me to do! With a deep sigh I reread the instructions. Looking around I noticed a long pole on the opposite side of the tent to me. I squinted at it, then to the tent, then to the instructions in my hand and back. Realisation hit me and I grabbed the pole, sliding it into the tent. I took another step back and grinned when the tent didn't collapse.
"What are you so proud of Muffin?" Logan said and dropped the wood onto the floor. I glared at him and motioned towards the tent.
"I set up the tent."
Logan raised an eyebrow. "Congratulations?" I gave him a flat look. He laughed and motioned for me to go to him. I stood in front of him, glaring. Logan leaned down a placed a short kiss on my lips. "You're so cute when you're angry." I blushed. "Come on, Muffin, help me start the fire." He said.
After many attempts of starting the fire and finally succeeding, Logan and I sat in front of it with marshmallows. Oh the memories. Logan placed an arm around my shoulder and pulled me towards him.
"Remember when we last went camping?" he asked and I laughed.
"Yeah, your car broke down and we had to walk for ages to the nearest gas station, where you shamelessly flirted your way into getting us a ride back." I said.
Logan chuckled and pressed a kiss to my forehead. "Good times." He muttered and I hummed in agreement.
I turned my marshmallow around in the fire. "I can't believe you dated Megan." I shook my head.
Logan groaned. "Let's not bring her up ever again, yeah?" He suggested.
"Gladly." I grinned at him.
The light from the fire lit up his handsome face, showing off his defined jaw. He placed his thumb and forefinger on my chin bringing my lips to his. "I love you." He murmured against my lips before placing a kiss on them.
"And I love you." I muttered and kissed him back.
We pulled apart for air and he grinned at me, his dimple showing. He placed his forehead on mine.
"You know what would be fun?" he said and traced my mouth with his thumb. When I didn't answer he smirked. "Skinny dipping."
I let out a soft laugh. "No, last time we almost did, our clothes got stolen." I shook my head at the memory, a small smile on my lips. The smirk on Logan's face widened.
I turned to the fire and found my marshmallow on fire. I frowned and threw my marshmallow away before grabbing a new one.
"You know if someone told me last year that I would be dating Logan Nicholas, the player of the school, I would of booked them into a mental institute." I said honestly.
"If someone told me last year that I would be dating the beautiful, kind and slightly crazy," I whacked Logan with my arm, "Haydee Johnson, I would of celebrated." He finished.
I turned to him, a wide smile on my face. "Mr Smooth." He laughed and I grinned. "And I am not slightly crazy." I gave him a stern look.
"Whatever you say Muffin." Logan said and took a bite out of his melted marshmallow. I shoved him and he dropped the marshmallow. "You didn't." he growled playfully.
I grinned. "Oh I did." Logan lunged for me but I let out a small squeak of surprise and jumped out of his way. Logan grabbed my wrist and tugged me towards him.
"You're going to pay for that." he said, and smirked dangerously at me. I gulped. Logan hauled me over his shoulder and jogged towards the lake.
I banged against his back with my fists. "No, no, no, Logan put me down!" I felt him laugh and groaned. "This isn't funny, you- you twat!" I hit his back repeatedly. "Put. me. down."
"As you wish." he laughed and dropped me into the lake.
I gasped, cold water consuming me. I swam to the surface and gave Logan a heated glare before holding my hand out for him to help me onto the dock. An idea struck me and I tried to hold back a smirk. Logan grabbed my hand but before he could help me up I pulled on his arm and he fell into the lake. He resurfaced with a gasp. I met Logan's gaze with a smirk etched onto my face. He raised an eyebrow and gripped my waist.
"Cheeky." Logan muttered and pressed his forehead to mine. I shivered from the cold water. "Is my Muffin cold?" he asked and placed a soft kiss on my nose. I nodded and pink tinted my cheeks. After all the time I've spent with Logan and he still makes me blush at simplest of gestures.
