A/N: another update yay!
not edited xx
I'm woken from my peaceful sleep by a loud ringing. I groaned and stretched, noticing I'm still on the couch. I grab for my phone and see the time is 2AM, I groaned louder and noticed I had a missed call from Logan. About damn time. I rolled my eyes and my phone started ringing again.
"Hello?"
"Muffin." Logan draws out the word.
"Yep." I let out a breath. I guess you could say I'm pissed.
"I'm outside, can you open the door?" He slurred. He's drunk. He's freaking drunk.
I huffed. "Why would I?" I snapped, it's silent for a moment.
"Muffin, baby, please." He said, his voice so soft, I hardly heard it.
I angrily glared at the front door, weighing out my options. If I let him in, I'd know where he is. If I don't, then who knows where he'll go. He's drunk so I'll just let him sleep and in the morning I'll talk to him.
I let out a long breath before hanging up and walking to the door, opening it. Logan was standing in front of the door, looking at his phone sadly. I frowned. He hadn't noticed me yet so I grabbed his collar and pulled him inside. When I shut the door and turned to him, I found him grinning at me. I started to walk past him but he grabbed my wrist and pulled me against the door. I sucked in a breath and couldn't help the butterflies in my stomach. Logan inched his face closer until his lips were barely touching mine. I closed my eyes briefly before opening them.
"You're drunk," I whispered, our lips brushing as I talked. His eyes were on my lips and bit my lip out of habit. He snapped his eyes to mine.
"You're beautiful," he said just as softly and before I could answer, his lips met mine.
I sighed into the kiss and kissed him back. I'm still mad at him but his kisses make me go crazy. Logan grabbed my face in his big hands and mine travelled to his hair and I tugged slightly. His hands moved from my face to just under my bum. "Jump," he grunted and I obeyed, wrapping my legs around his waist. He started walking, but I had no idea where; the kiss was consuming me and all I could think of.
Logan's legs hit the couch and he fell down, still holding onto me. I was now straddling him. His one hand was holding my waist and his other skimmed over my stomach. I shivered. He bit my lip and kissed down my neck. "I love you," he murmured softly against the skin of my neck. My heart fluttered and I smiled softly.
I pulled his head so he was looking at me. I gave him a soft kiss before pulling away. "I'm still mad at you." I told him and he laughed. Our make out session seemed to sober him up a little.
"What's all this ruckus, Haydee?" My mom stepped into the living room and I stared at her wide-eyed before looking at Logan, then back at her. Mother blinked and I quickly scrambled off Logan who coughed and rubbed the back of his neck, his cheeks tinted pink. "Hello Logan," she nodded at him and he smiled. "You're staying the night?" He nodded. "Okay, well goodnight. . .or morning." she said and walked to her bedroom.
Logan laughed and I buried my face in my hands. God that was awkward. He pulled my hands away from my face and dragged me to my room. Once we were safely inside, he pushed me against yet another door.
"For someone," he kissed up my neck, "that's mad at me," kiss, "you sure," kiss, "don't mind," kiss, "when I do this," he stopped at my lips for a moment before crushing his lips to mine.
I kissed him shortly before pulling away. "You're going to get it in the morning," I told him sternly and he rolled his eyes, "but for now, you can kiss me all you want." He smirked and pulled me onto the bed, before crushing his lips against mine for what felt like the hundredth time that night, or morning.
True to my word, I let Logan have it this morning. He was sitting on the edge of my bed while I paced in front him.
"Where were you for two days, that you couldn't text or call your girlfriend?" I asked. Logan ran his hands down his face.
"My phone died," was all he said. That angered me and I stopped pacing.
"What, does your house not have a house phone? Because when I went there yesterday I saw one in the kitchen! You could've just called." I breathed deeply trying to calm myself. This is our first proper fight.
He raised from the bed and stalked towards me. "what were you doing at my house?" He frowned.
"I just baked some stuff with my mom and brought it over for you guys." I said, confused that Mr Collins didn't tell him I was there.
"What did you see?" He asked, panic in his eyes. I frowned deeper.
"What do you mean? I saw your house--"
"No-- did you see me?" He asked almost frantically. "Or Missy?" I huffed at her name.
"No I didn't see either of you." I replied, completely confused as to why he was so worried for me to see him or Missy. Logan seemed somewhat relaxed by my answer, but I wasn't finished. Anger seared through me again at the thought of Missy and Logan in a room together.
"But Mr Collins said you two were upstairs together," I paused and watched his face. He looked panicked again. "He said he was happy you two were spending time together, because you used to be so close." I finished and his face fell. I frowned, yet again. "what's wrong, why are you looking at me like that?" I started to walk to him but he shook his head and I stopped.
"Warn me when you're coming, alright?" He snapped and my heart dropped. "You can't just show up randomly, it's creepy and clingy." He said harshly and a lump forms in my throat. He stormed out my room.
"Logan, wait!" I called after him and ran.
I stopped him just as he opened the front door.
"What is going on? Why are you leaving?" My voice cracked on the last word and I tried to swallow the lump in my throat. What is he doing?
"I'll call you later." he said but his voice was distant and he wasn't looking at me.
He opened the door and stepped out, shutting it in my face. I stood there gaping at the door. I heard the sound of his car driving away and my heart sank more.
"Honey, are you alright?" My mother asked and I shook my head and turned towards her. She looked concerned and motioned for me to go to her. A tear fell down my cheek and I ran into her arms. "what happened sweetie?"
"I-- I have no idea, he just snapped at me." I whispered and gripped her T-Shirt.
"Shh, it's okay." She cooed and stroked my hair.
What just happened? Why did he look so panicked when he asked if I saw him, or Missy? What was all that about? I was so confused and hurt. He just snapped. I continued to cry into my mothers shirt and she kept whispering sweet words in my ear.
