Chapter 9

"This is for your own good Jack!" Yukina shouts as she lets loose a torrent of bullets! Jack returns fire with his own hailstorm from muramasa and the two dodge each other's gunfire.

"THIS'LL DEAL WITH YOU!" Jack shouts as he teleports all over the area before finally settling on a place and opening fire! Yukina barely dodges the gunfire, taking a shot to the arm, before rolling out of harm's way.

"Gah... Darn it..." Yukina grumbles, holding her gunshot wound.

"RISE MY NEW ALLIES!!!" Jack yells as he summons demons to do his bidding.

"We can't just stand back and let her take them on alone!" Shinobu shouts as she and Maya quickly go in to intercept the demons. While Jack is distracted, Yukina takes advantage and opens fire with her gun, striking Jack multiple times before he falls to the ground. Jack then quickly gets up and starts hovering again before opening fire once more! Shinobu and Maya just avoid getting shot while dealing with the other demons Jack summoned and Yukina manages to nail Jack again!

"YOU LITTLE PEST! DIE!!!"  Jack screams as he puts away muramasa for now and conjures up the likes of a demon spear! This one resembles an actual spear as opposed to a trident and it's brimming with the dark energy that corrupted him. "HAAH!!" Jack screams again before charging towards the ground and driving the spear into the ground! Shinobu, Maya and Yukina are all hit by an explosion of dark energy and get sent flying back into various buildings!

"ARGH!" They shout as Jack hovers over them intimidatingly.

"Oh HELL! We gotta do something!" Kurona shouts.

"I'm with you but what CAN we do against him?!" Ekoro asks.

"At this point I don't care! Let's beat him down!" Kurona replies before the two charge!

"I'D LIKE TO SEE YOU TRY!" Jack shouts as he puts away his spear and pulls out muramasa. He channels dark energy into the gun and it begins floating and firing on it's own accord, spraying bullets everywhere!

"Look out!" Kurona shouts as everyone dodges the machine gun fire and the angel and demon take aim!

"Charge shot, FIRE!!!" Ekoro shouts as she charges up her pistols and fires a fully charged shot! The force of a mini nuke hits Jack dead on, but it doesn't do so much as faze him.

"Take THIS!" Kurona yells as she engages Jack in close combat!

"HA HA HA!!!" Jack screams as he gains the upper hand and forces Kurona back before letting muramasa blow the demon away!

"ACK!!!" Kurona screams as she hits the ground hard. "Gah... What the HELL happened to that gun?! It's so powerful!" She says as she gets back up on her feet, using her demon spear as support. Yukina then takes this moment to shoot Jack with her gun, but he simply deflects all of her shots by spinning his spear.

"I AM INVINCIBLE! NOTHING CAN STOP ME!" Jack hollers. "IF YOU DARE CHALLENGE ME THIS PLACE WILL BECOME YOUR GRAVE!!!"

"He's gone completely beserk!" Ekoro shouts.

"Wait one HELL a second! He's TRANSFORMING!!! How much dark energy was built up in him?!" Kurona yells, seeing demon horns erupt from Jack's head!

"It's a good thing I topped off my reserves! Yukina, it's time to take this fight to the skies!" Ekoro says. "Get ready! EKORO MAGIC!!!"

"Right!" Yukina shouts as angelic wings materialize and she takes to the skies, meeting Jack's height. "I will end this one way or another!"

"LIKE YOU CAN DO ANYTHING TO ME! I'LL CLIP THOSE WINGS OF YOURS BEFORE YOU KNOW IT!!!" Jack yells as muramasa begins firing at Yukina while Jack closes in with his spear! Yukina brings out her claws and intercepts Jack's attempts to shish-kabob her before managing to break the spear with one good slash! "ARGH!"

"I don't believe it!" Ekoro shouts. "Is this the power of love and angelic energy combined?! It just broke a demon spear!!!"

"Those things are built tough as HELL! And she just shattered it like it was a twig!" Kurona shouts as Jack takes hold of muramasa again, regaining some of the dark energy he was using before, and this distracts him long enough for Yukina to let loose one last storm of bullets! Each and every bullet hits their mark, and when Yukina finally lets go of the trigger, Jack is stunned.

"Gah... What... The hell?" Jack mumbles.

"Now! Use a charge shot!" Ekoro yells. Yukina finds the single shot function on her gun and prepares to charge a shot!

"This one is for you Jack!" Yukina yells as she fires off a fully charged shot! Not unlike the blast created from Ekoro's charged shot, the force of a mini nuke sends Jack rocketing towards the ground and he hits it so hard he leaves a small crater! Yukina lands as the wings dissipate and everyone groups up around Jack, who is unresponsive. "...Did we do it?" Everyone watches as a purple mist emerges from Jack's body before it dissipates into nothingness, and the horns on his head vanish completely. When Jack's eyes finally open, he still shows one red eye but the other eye is brown- all the evidence the group needs to know that Jack has finally returned to normal. "Jack! I am so glad that you are back!" Yukina cries as she embraces Jack, who returns the hug.

"I'm glad I'm back as well, thank you babe." Jack says.

"Jack, we can see your red eye." Shinobu says.

"Wait, you can?" Jack asks. "Crap, the contact must have burnt up when the dark energy consumed me. Oh well." He muses as Yukina lets go and helps him get back on his feet. Only then does he see the crater he left behind. "Geez, what did you do to me Yukina?"

"I kind of hit you with a fully charged shot." Yukina replies as the gun she was using before dissipates into light and feathers.

"Well, looks like all of the dark energy in you has been completely purged. You're good as HELL to go." Kurona says. "Fight on."

"Thanks Kurona." Jack replies. "Come on, let's head home. I think we all had a rough day today."

"I don't blame you." Shinobu says as she and the others make their way back to their penthouse.
