Chapter 4

When Jack woke up this time, he noticed that Yukina wasn't by his side.

"Huh. She must have gone to get something." Jack mumbles as he gets up and then sees something hanging on the doorknob. "Hmm... "Today is a new day, put this on and head downstairs to the lobby." Huh..." He says as he notices the outfit that's been picked for him- a simple tee paired with a fancy jacket, slacks and sneakers. "...Okay..." He says as he puts on the outfit, but before he begins to leave for the lobby, Kurona shows up.

"Morning!" Kurona says cheerfully.

"What's up?" Jack asks.

"I assume you got the message?" Kurona asks back.

"You're not pranking me are you?"  Jack bounces back.

"Of course not! I don't have that neat of handwriting after all!" Kurona replies. "Well, you better head on down, I'll follow you."

"Alright..." Jack says as they both head to the elevator and start heading down. A few floors down the elevator stops and Shinobu comes in. "Hey Shinobu. What's with the outfit change?" He asks, also noting Shinobu's change in clothing- the headband and talisman bells have stayed, but Shinobu has taken to wearing a simple white blouse, jeans and sneakers.

"I just wanted to wear something different, that's all." Shinobu replies as the elevator starts going down again. A few floors later it stops again and Maya gets on.

"Morning Ja-nii." Maya says.

"Morning. What's going on?" Jack asks as he notices Maya's change in outfit- a graphic tee, shorts and sandals. Her talisman bells hang around her neck like normal though but she has ditched her mask for the day. "You not cold Maya?"

"No, not really." Maya replies.

"I was asking the same thing, don't worry." Shinobu chuckles.

"Am I supposed to be expecting something? This is starting to look like some sort of plan." Jack asks.

"You'll find out." Kurona giggles. Jack is expecting the elevator to stop again, but the elevator makes it to the lobby without a second hinch before they begin to open.

"I wonder where Yukina is. I didn't see her when I woke up this morning, but then again neither did I see you two. I hope she's not sick or anything."

"Oh she's fine, you just worry too much." Shinobu and Maya chuckle.

"Alright, if you say so." Jack replies as they exit the elevator.

"Come on, chill the HELL out will you? You look like you're about to burst something!" Kurona says, slinging her arm around Jack for a few seconds before letting go. Once they exit the hotel, Ekoro awaits them.

"Something's up." Jack says, looking at the angel, and then the demon.

"Wait... Kurona?" Ekoro asks.

"Ekoro?" Kurona asks right back.

"You two know each other?" Jack asks.

"She had a makeup lesson and I decided out of the goodness in my heart to give her a hand." Ekoro replies. "It might have been rough sailing at first because we both were the reason the whole "super popular legend" came around and we kept blaming each other, but eventually we smoothed out and well, since exams are over for the both of us..."

"She won't have to worry about me pulling pranks, especially with you guys around." Kurona finishes.

"Jack, I'd like you to turn to your right. Don't ask, just do." Ekoro says innocently.

"Alright, if you... Say... So... Oh wow..." Jack trails off as he turns to his right. His eyes go wide and his jaw drops as Shinobu and the others snicker and giggle. "Is that you Yukina? Or am I standing before a goddess?"

"Oh you are so flattering!" Yukina says, madly blushing. She sports a powder blue dress that falls to her knees, along with a matching color bow and flats. Yukina had also taken time to put on makeup, and Jack stands there in awe. "Well what are you standing there for goofball?" She asks, snapping Jack out of his trance.

"Sorry." Jack chuckles. "I just wanted to take time and admire your everlasting beauty." He says as he walks over to Yukina and kisses her. Shinobu and Maya both pull out their phones and snap a picture of the kiss before it ends, and Jack and Yukina give joking looks to the sisters.

"You two are SO ADORABLE!" Shinobu squeals.

"I could not have picked a better couple than you two." Ekoro says, making a heart with her hands.

"Are you sure you didn't accidentally charge your shot the least bit?" Maya asks jokingly.

"Yeah yeah, coo and adore all you like." Jack chuckles. "But seriously where are we going?"

"Oh we're heading to the mall that's not too far from here." Shinobu replies. "I thought it was time to kick back."

"I mean I agree, but what's there for old man Jack?" Jack chuckles.

"You are not that old Jack." Yukina giggles. "I am very sure there is something in the mall for you."

"Alright, I'll hold you to that then babe." Jack laughs, and it's not long before the others join in for a few seconds.

"I got permission from the guys in hell to spend a whole day here, don't worry about me." Kurona says.

"And I made an excuse to study humans for a day, so don't worry about me either." Ekoro adds.

"Angels and demons getting along with humans..." Maya says. "It's like a dream come true..."

"Hey, I had to help her out. I couldn't let her feel the pain that was a horrible punishment." Ekoro says as her feet touch the ground. "Don't worry about the other humans though, they won't be able to see us."

"That's a relief. We'd be getting way too much attention then." Jack chuckles as he and Yukina hold hands. With everything set the group heads to the mall where Ekoro and Kurona are introduced firsthand to the huge shopping place and everything it has to offer, all without the prying eyes of other people.

"Man, heaven needs to get one of these places." Ekoro says.

"Hell needs one of these too." Kurona says as the two look in awe.

"Well what are you waiting for?" Yukina asks as she leads Jack on, trying to catch up with Shinobu and Maya who have already hit some of the stores.
